Hyper Connectivity
*: Subject to readiness of ecosystem & environment fortesting
Hyper Connectivity
eMBB & FWA
— eMBB
• Addressing services requiring high internet speeds
• Low Latency Services
• Capacity requirements for Urban/Sub-urbanAreas
— FWA
• Home and enterprise segment
• Higher throughputs at large cellranges
• Improving data speeds at Indoors
Applicability for high speed mobile subscribers
Applicability: Connect the unconnected
— Dependencies
• User Equipment/Smart Phones
• FWA CPE
Entertainment
VR Content Playback
Prerecorded Video streaming
Presentation of video stream on 42” screen
Demonstrates: virtual reality, mass throughput
Output on VR glasses, optional on 42” screen
Different 360° VR contents available:
Impressions landscape scenery
In the middle of sea
Music Video
Applicability: Media, Entertainment, Hospitality
5G Gaming : VR enabled Gaming Experience
When putting on the VR Goggles the user stands in front ofa
virtual goal
Through VR glasses he sees a virtual keeper standing in a stadium
live transmitted in stereoscopic VR 180°
When the user kicks the ball into the goal the ball is visualizedin
VR real-time rendering. All movements are tracked by a Kinect.
The virtual keeper has to catch the ball
The view on the VR Glasses can be duplicated on a separate screen
There are two modes: 4G and 5G
4G: due to the higher latency it will be much more difficult
for the virtual keeper to catch the ball
5G: Due to the shorter latency the virtual keeper will be able
to react faster and has a higher chance to get the ball
Applicability: 5G Gaming, Low Latency
Socio-Economic
Education : VR Assisted Remote Education
• Teacher Delivering Lecture in a School
• Lecture is captured Live by HD
Camera and streamed to a Remote
Location over 5G
• Students accessing the Lecture
from a Remote Location
• VR Kits enable students to feel
they are part of the Class
Applicability: Remote education, Skill Development

CloudPC For Rural
BusinessApplicability:
• B2B: Small enterprise can have access to 5G enabled CloudPCs at a nominal expense, for different business purposes
• B2C: local customers can access the CloudPC based on rental basis
CLOUD APPInteractive Computing
BROAD PIPEReal-time Transmission
SMART DEVICEThin Client on Terminal
Through this use case will make the users to access remote Computing based on Public /
Private cloud enabled through 5G Network in the RuralArea
• The use case is aligned with Skill India Campaign by Government of India
• Cloud PC will enable every person to have access to a powerful on demand
computer at a marginal cost compared to the cost of a high end computer
• Access to such high end computers will help developing and improving skills
thereby increasing employability
Healthcare
Remote Telemedicine & Teleconferencing
Tele-ICU has an off-site command centre in which a critical care team (intensivists and critical care
nurses) is connected with patients in distance intensive care units (ICUs) through a real-time audio, visual
and electronic means and health information is exchanged.
• Rural Area with the Telemedicine Cart
Setup in a clinic
• Various equipment are made available
for diagnostics such as BP, ECG,
Fundus etc..
• Patients visit the clinic for
teleconsultation and diagnostics
• Doctor monitoring from a hospital
• Checking the images and different
vital parameters from different
equipment such as BP, ECG, Fundus
etc..
• Doctor prescribes medication
Drone Based Intelligent Agriculture
• The camera in the drone captures high-definition photos/ videos of the farm and transmits them
back to the server in real time through 5G network.
• The farmers can perform appropriate protection and irrigation of crops through picture analysis
Core network & video analysis server

Industry 4.0
— Remote Maintenance and Inspection
— Live fault finding and rectification with person in
factory wearing AR glasses and vendor siting at
remote location instructing the person to correct
the fault.
— Training in virtual environment new joiners in the
factory
— Dependencies
• Industrial Modems
• Retrofitting modems on machines
• AR/VR/MR Devices
• Development of
• App development
• Content storage on cloud/Media Server
• AI/ML servers and applications
• Setting up the connectivity with 5G trial network

Surveillance & Security
Drone Based Smart Agriculture and Advanced Surveillance
BusinessApplicability:
• B2B: Small entrepreneurs can introduce the 5G enabled drone solution for
the purpose of surveillance in Industrial setups and agriculture purpose for
Big farm owners
• B2C: local customers / farmers can access the drones on rental basis
Relevance of Smart agriculture in India Context:
Aligned with Government of India goals of increasing farmers’income,
building farming infrastructure & boosting agriculture research and
education
Relevance of Advanced surveillance in IndiaContext:
Aerial surveillance of Industrial complexes, Power plants can be used for
routine check, efficiently detect anomalies, improve safety and prevent
hazards
