By which parts should I use the RED TAG?: Set up a rule: Whatwill I not use in the next 1 week 1 month ?

Raw Material in the production line. Tools Paperwork out of date Tables, stools, locker, cabinet

Unidentified container, boxes No more valid documents, signs, announcements, posters. Put a RED TAG and store these items on a place, where everybodycan see them. Wait for 1 week (month) if anybody needs these items.

After 1 week (month) throw them away.

If there is no continuous pressure fromthe management, there will be very soon

.

Tools to make this step easy are: Show the people the old-new stand inthe factory. (Pictures, billboards)

Make regular 5S audits with check

lists. Show the results open to everybody.

Follow up the audit results. .
