At The Beam – Balance is Natural
Inspired by one of Earth’s most important natural resources, The Beam name pays homage
to the sturdy timber that frames and supports its majestic yet strong structure. The Beam
is also inspired by balance – balance between life and work, new and tenured, modern and
vintage.

MODERN. NATURAL. CLEAN. DEFINED. The future of
thoughtful, responsible and durable construction is here
with Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) construction. And now
this marriage between solid timber, concrete, steel and
glass is available to Arizona for the first time, thanks to
Tempe’s newest and most innovative urban building, The
Beam on Farmer.

Between 1948 and 1987, a citrus packing plant, operated by Consolidated
Citrus Growers, occupied the site where The Beam will stand. Since
that time, Tempe has made significant investments in infrastructure,
education, innovation and transportation to create a dynamic, modern
and inviting community where people can work, learn, play and live.
Which makes The Beam on Farmer, in many ways, the perfect addition
to Tempe and its thriving business community today.
