Greetings from the organizing committee of ISAR-DCCON-21.

thIt gives us immense pleasure in inviting all of you to the 6 Annual Conference of

Indian Society for Atherosclerosis Research, Delhi Chapter, scheduled on st1 October, 2021. In the prevailing uncertain and unpredictable COVID-19 situation,

the meeting platform had to be shifted from physical to virtual, but the focussed zeal

for an excellent academic event remains steadfast.

The theme of the event is “Atherosclerosis: Current Challenges”. The problem of

atherosclerosis has grown even more significant with every passing decade of

modernisation, including its strong implications in cardiovascular manifestations of

COVID-19. The organising committee has invited reputed international speakers

along with eminent national resource persons to share their knowledge and

reflections on one of the most important and primal health challenges. Oral paper

presentation sessions with young scientist awards for the best papers in basic and

clinical segments, will also be held.

GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Topic : It should be relevant to the theme of the conference i.e. "Atherosclerosis: Current Challenges".

Type of study : Experimental or basic / Clinical

Type of Presentation : Oral

• The body of abstract should contain a maximum of 350 words and must be in English.

• The abstract should be structured i.e. constructed with clear paragraphs for title and author details including institutional affiliation of the authors, aim, background, methods, results, conclusions.

• The first author must present his/ her presentation.

• The first author must complete registration when submitting an abstract.

• Abstract must be sent by e-mail to: [email protected]

• All the accepted basic or clinical presentations will be eligible for award in the respective category.
