Welcome New Students & Parents,

This is a personal note to let you know that I look forward to working with your children and yourself in this

Mountain Eagle Karate Program which strongly emphasizes character development as you will see over the

upcoming months.

For the days that our morning classes are not in session or when you miss a class because of family

commitments we encourage you to bring your children to our karate school so they can make-up the classes tha

they will be missing.

. Your MAKE-UP class options at Mountain Eagle Karate are (October-December):. Ages 4-7: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 4:15-5:00 pm

o Ages 8 & up: Monday through Thursday: 5:00-5:50 pm

The students have weekly homework assignments that are character and self-discipline related; we encourage t

parents to review and sign them together.

We are sending home some papers:

o Youth Release (Please complete, sign and teturn to Renshi Mark.)

o "Earn-your-white-belt" Assignment (Please review this assignment and sign for your child so they can

earn their first belt.)

. Overview of homework assignments.

o Coloring Pages & Stripe System (Students are encouraged to learn about the animal strengths)

Our program focuses on respect, good manners, self-discipline and developing skills. The martial afts content o

the program is focused primarily on communication skills and basic defense skills. The kids do not become

abusive or use the skills offensively.

We are excited about working with your children and look forward to training together!

Please always let us know if you have any questions or concerns O

Sincerely yours,

Mark & Anna Gorman
