Interactive mapping tools to present trends
Reviving the Ocean Economy
WWF-led assessment of the global ocean as a major economic asset
Examined key direct ocean assets, trade/transport and associated assets
Conservatively estimated the value of global ocean assets at $24 trillion
Annual gross marine product of $2.5 trillion – making it the 7th largest economy
Now looking to do regional assessments and WWF working towards inclusion of Celtic Seas
