Description: DURING A FRONTAL ACCIDENT RESULTING IN FRONTAL AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT, THERE IS THE POTENTIALFOR INTERACTION BETWEEN THE DEPLOYING PASSENGER AIRBAG AND THE PASSENGER SUN VISOR IF THE SUN VISORIS IN THE DOWN POSITION. DEPENDING ON THE POSITION AND ANGLE OF THE SUN VISOR IN THE DOWN POSITION,THE DEPLOYING PASSENGER AIRBAG MAY REMOVE THE SUN VISOR, PROPELLING IT REARWARD.

THE PASSENGER SUN VISOR, IF REMOVED AND PROPELLED REARWARD BY THE DEPLOYING PASSENGER AIRBAG,COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY TO A PASSENGER SEATED IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT.

Remedy: A TETHER STRAP WILL BE ADDED TO THE PASSENGER SUN VISOR ON EACH VEHICLE. FOR THE ECLIPSESPYDER VEHICLES, THE SUN VISOR HOLDER WILL BE ALSO REPLACED WITH A COUNTERMEASURE ONE. THESEREPAIRS WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE.
