    WARNINGS:

    This product is meant for outdoor use onlyand only on private property. Never rideyour MINIMOTO on sidewalks, publicstreets, alleys, or other public roads orthoroughfares. It must never be ridden inany area that could potentially do harm tohumans, animals, or someones property.

    Never ride around the vicinity of small chil-dren who may enter your path.

    Special notes for supervising adults ofthe rider:

    1) The decision to allow a rider to ride theMINIMOTO SPORT RACER must be donewith the permission of a directly supervis-ing adult. The directly supervising adultmust read and follow all of the contents ofthe owners manual before making thisdecision.

    2) The rider must have previous experi-ence in riding two-wheeled vehicles withouttraining wheels before attempting to ridethe MINIMOTO SPORT RACER. It is theresponsibility of the supervising adult toensure the rider has the specific talent,physical ability, and training before allowinghim/her to ride the bike.

    3) The MINIMOTO SPORT RACER isnever to be ridden indoors. Indoor flooringand carpets can be damaged from abra-sive contact with the tires. The manufac-turer will not be responsible for any indoordamage if the MINIMOTO SPORT RACERis used in this manner.

    4) The MINIMOTO SPORT RACER isdesigned to run on clean, flat, dry, andgenerally hard surfaces by children over 8years of age. It should never be used ongravel or grass.

    5) The rider of a MINIMOTO SPORTRACER should always wear appropriatefootwear. Open-toed shoes should neverbe allowed. Keep shoe laces and pantlegs away and clear of the wheels.

    6) The rider must wear a safety helmet,elbow pads and kneepads to avoid injuryfrom falling. Failure to wear a standard,approved helmet may result in seriouspersonal injury or death.

    7) The MINIMOTO SPORT RACER isnever to be ridden by more than one per-son at a time. In addition, it is notdesigned to pull or tow anything behind it,as it may result in serious damage to themotor or internal parts. Do not exceed themaximum capacity of 175 lbs (80 kg).

    8) The MINIMOTO SPORT RACER cannotbe used on wet surfaces or in wet weather.Never immerse any part of the MINIMOTOSPORT RACER in water. Moisture candamage the motor, switches, and drivecomponents.

    9) The MINIMOTO SPORT RACER shouldnever be ridden in mud, puddles, water,ice, or on slick surfaces.

    10) The electric motor can become hotwhen in use. Do not touch it at anytimeand handle it carefully.

    VEHICLE ASSEMBLY AND SETUP:

    CAUTION: The included tools to set upand charge the MINIMOTO SPORT RACERshould be used by an ADULT ONLY. Thepackage contains some small parts.Keep away from small children.

    1) Completelyremove theMINIMOTO SPORTRACER from thepackage. Positionit upright and sup-port it by movingthe kick stand tothe lower position(Fig 1).

    2) Find and identify the following tools.(Fig 2)

    3) Rotate the two han-dlebars into position(Fig 3). NOTE:Rotate the handlebarsinward or outward toadjust the size anddriving position.Moving them outward will give you more

    room between your kneesand your hands.

    4) FIRMLY TIGHTEN the han-dlebars using the tool asshown (Fig 4). WARNING: The handlebarsmust not be able to movewhen riding! ALWAYS test

    the handlebars before riding to make surethey will not slip, rotate, or be forced fromtheir desired position. If the handlebarsmove when riding, it is possible to loosecontroland fall.

    BRAKE ADJUSTMENT:

    IMPORTANT! You must adjust the handbrake before attempting a ride on yourMINIMOTO SPORT RACER.

    Brakes may need to be adjusted over time.Minor brake adjustments can be obtainedby tightening or loosening the brake adjust-ment located next to the hand brake (Fig8). Start the motor and try the brake tosee if it works properly before riding.

    If brakesneedmoredrastic

    adjustments, use a wrench to loosen thenut that secures the brake cable to therear wheel (Fig 9). When the nut is loos-ened, pull the brake cable tight until thereis no slack in the cable and retighten thenut.

    STEPS TO CHARGEBATTERY:

    1) Open the protectivecover of the charger recep-tacle and plug the chargerinto the port (Fig 10).

    2) Plug the other end of thecharger into a standard120 Volt electrical outlet.NOTE: When properly charg-ing, the Red indicator lighton the charger will be ON.You may hear a clicking sound and see thered and green lights flash on and off onthe charger. THIS IS NORMAL. MAKESURE THAT ANY SWITCHES CONNECTINGTHE ELECTRICAL OUTLET ARE SET TO THEON POSITION.

    3) Before using theMINIMOTO SPORT RACERfor the first time, charge thebattery for at least 12hours. Never charge thebattery for more than 30hours. NOTE: When the battery isfully charged, the RED lightwill be off and the GREENindicator light on the charg-er will be ON.

    4) It is recommended thatyou always recharge the battery for a peri-od of 8 hours. However, 80% of thepower will be charged into the battery in 4hours. It is possible to use theMINIMOTO SPORT RACER after this peri-od, but the total running time will bereduced.

    RIDING RULES:

    DIRECT ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIREDWHEN RIDING.

    Adults should teach the appropriate safetyrules and methods before allowing anyoneto ride the MINIMOTO SPORT RACER.The rules should be reviewed with anychild in the vicinity that may want to ridethe mini-bike.

    1) The following areas are to be avoidedwhen riding the MINIMOTO SPORTRACER:

    a. Cars or traffic

    b. Streets or alleys

    c. Steps or steep inclines

    d. Swimming pools, puddles, ice, or bodies of water

    e. Any area that could potentially cause harm tohumans, animals, or property. Ride only in areas where permission has been granted.

    2) Do not use on roads or public streets,as this is illegal and dangerous.

    3) Never ride the MINIMOTO SPORTRACER at night.

    4) Never ride with more than one rider.Maximum allowable weight of the ridershould not exceed 175 lbs (80 kg).

    5) Always wear appropriate shoes, cloth-ing, and protective gear. Protective gearincludes the use of a helmet, knee pads,and elbow pads (not included).

    6) Always check to see that the kick standis in the up position before starting toride. Leaving the kick stand in the downposition can cause the rider to fall whileriding.

    7) Do not use THE MINIMOTO SPORTRACER for jumping, stunts or tricks.This product has not been designed forsuch use.

    8) Do not touch the motor or wheels whilethey are rotating.

    9) Keep hands, face, feet and hair awayfrom all moving parts.

    10) Do not ride down or across steepinclines. The MINIMOTO SPORT RACER,just like a bicycle, can reach unsafespeeds, lose traction, or slip and tip over.Ride on level ground.

    11) Never ride near flammable liquids orvapors such as gasoline, acetone or paintthinner. Keep all flammable materialsaway from the MINIMOTO SPORT RACER.

    12) Never wear headphones or use a cellphone when operating.

    13) Ride defensively. Remember that oth-ers around you may not see you or may betoo involved in their own actions to moveout of your way.

    14) Learn about and observe your locallaws regarding bicycle use.

    15) Riders must be over the age of 8.Keep away from small children.

    RIDING YOUR MINIMOTO SPORTRACER:

    NOTE: It will take a littlepractice to get used to rid-ing. Take it slowly and startin a location that is veryopen and away from obsta-cles or obstructions.

    1) Move the foot pegs tothe down position. (Fig 11)

    2) Hold onto the handle-bars and move the kick-stand up (Fig 12).

    3) Carefully sit on the seatwith your feet supportingyou and the bike (Fig 13).

    4) Place the key in the lockand turn it to the ON posi-tion (Fig 14).

    5) Using the thumb of yourright hand, QUICKLY movethe throttle control lever allthe way down (Fig 15)WHILE AT THE SAME TIMElifting your feet up from theground (Fig 16). NOTE:Keeping your feet on theground too long while tryingto accelerate may causethe fuse to blow.

    6) When you have achievedenough speed to controlyour balance, place yourfeet on the foot pegs (Fig17).

    7) Lift the throttle controllever to adjust the desiredspeed. Squeeze the brakelever to apply the brake asnecessary.

    8) BE CAREFUL: TheMINIMOTO SPORT RACERcan reach speeds up to 10MPH on a level surface(depending on the surfaceterrain and the weight ofthe rider).

    TIRE INFLATIONPROCEDURE:

    WARNING: Tire inflationmust be done ONLY BY ANADULT. NEVER inflate thetires above 30 PSI. Tiresshould be inflated with astandard bicycle typepump. Inflation at anAutomobile service stationcan easily result in overinflation of the tires. Overinflation of the tires canresult in serious injury oreven death.

    Before inflating any tire,make sure the key isremoved from the lock.

    To inflate the front tire,unscrew the protective capfrom the valve stem andattach the bicycle pump asyou would with any bicycle.

    To inflate the rear tires,remove the stem cover onthe chain guard by unscrew-ing it with a coin. Rotatethe rear wheel in a reversedirection until the openingsare aligned. The rear wheelshould be in view whenlooking through the chainguard (Fig 19). Now rotatethe tire in a forward direc-tion until the stem isaligned and in view throughthe chain guard. Screw theTire Valve Connector (includ-ed in the tool kit) to extendthe tire valve through thechain guard (Fig 20).Attach the bicycle pumpand inflate. IMPORTANT!Replace the stem coverwhen finished.

    REPLACING THE FUSE:

    If the fuse is blown, the MINIMOTO SPORTRACER will completely shut down.Unscrew the fuse cap and inspect the fuseto see if it is broken (Fig 20). A replace-ment fuse can be found at any local auto-motive parts store. The type of the fuse is30A. DO NOT ATTEMPTto use a larger Amperagefuse than specified asthis may result in theburning of the electricalcircuits.

    IF YOU LOSE THE KEYS:

    Take your MINIMOTO SPORT RACER to alocal Locksmith. For a charge, they will beable to create a new key. This is thefastest way to get rolling again. NOTE:Keys can be obtained by contacting theMinimoto Service Center. You can also

    have your key duplicat-ed at any Key Shop orkiosk. It is a good ideato store an extra key ina safe place.
