Preparing for Next Sunday 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

The first reading explains that the day is coming when the Lord will punish evildoers, but bring healing to the just. Paul’s words in Thessalonians urge those who are idle to keep busy and work quietly to earn their own food. In the Gospel, Jesus tells his disciples that he will give them a wisdom in speaking that will render their adversaries powerless to resist or refute.

Rosary Guild Fundraiser The Rosary Guild are having a fundraiser to benefit our church on Sunday, November 13, 2016 after all Masses. They will have handcrafted rosaries, angels, night lights, sun catchers and more. Please support our Rosary Guild!

New Generation Seniors Harvest Dance

Save the Date - November 13, 2016 The New Generation Seniors will host a afternoon of fun and meeting new friends. We will have dance in our Parish Hall from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. Tickets are $10 a person. With a deficit of $1,439.00 this week, we cannot operate the church. I beg you to take seriously your commitment to God through your church. Please consider increasing your offerings. You can use your envelope with a check or cash or you can just donate with your credit or debit card. You can donate online or in the parish office.

Congratulations to the Crusader Soccer team for winning their 1A Division league Championship last Saturday October 29, 2016. The team had a great season, prevailing in play-off games leading up to the championship at St. Pius X High School. The score against the Assumption Middle School was 1-0 until the 33 minutes in regulation time and held the lead to the end with a win! Congratulations to our hardworking and talented team and to coaches Gerry Lopez and Hoc Nguyen. Go Crusaders!!!!!!!!!!

Felicidades al equipo de Soccer, Crusader por ganar en la liga 1A División Championship, el sábado 29 de Octubre, 2016. El equipo tuvo una gran temporada, predominando en las eliminatorias. Llegando al

campeonato en St. Pius X High School. La puntuación contra Assumption Middle School fué 1-0 hasta el minute 33 en tiempo regular, y mantuvo el liderazgo hasta el final, consiguiendo el triunfo!
