(Pp. iii+426; 26 figures; 45s.) Bristol: John Wright and Sons Ltd. 1964. Apart from brief excursions into the normal histology at the commencement and the pathology of each tissue and organ and a few embryological considerations, there is little here of direct interest to the teacher or student of anatomy. The book, however, contains a wealth of information concerning pathology and could serve for quick reference. There is a useful bibliography and a good index. The illustrations are confined to line drawings and are few in number. Symposium on the Prognosis of Malignant Tumours of the Breast. Edited by P. DENOIX and C. ROUQUETTE. (Pp. 13-233; illustrated; £6.) Basel: S. Karger. 1963.
