Our goal
• Large scale psychology research project to introduce research methods and cutting edge science to students. Intent to have broad-scale availability and exposure.
• Project currently consists of 40 high school students at all grade levels.
• Team meets weekly to read journal articles, learn research techniques, discuss current psychology studies.

Here’s where you come in
• We need lots of 5th and 6th grade students to volunteer as research subjects.
• Study will consist of one 20-25 minute interview where the student is asked to complete a series of visual puzzles and respond to questions about enjoyment of the task.
• Interviews will be conducted by trained high school students under supervision of Dr. Moore and Mr. Burk.
• All information will be blind/anonymous. Researchers will not know students, and all data will be combined into one large, anonymous data pool for analysis.

• Project will continue, with appropriate and data-driven modifications.
• Your students may one day be able to participate as researchers in this studyPlant seeds for continued growth and education in the process of research,
• possibly as a career choice at some point, but certainly as an educated consumer of science and research.
