This is a must-see Hidden Gem, the only cave in Tennessee with the highest rating from AAA. The price is $17 for adults. The cavern has an amazing 200-foot waterfall, and inside the big room look for the 12-foot high stalagmite known as a totem pole. The guided tour is one and a half hours with lots of steps up and down. The cave features underground rivers so the walking paths are often wet. making a pair of rubber bottom shoes such as tennis shoes the safest footwear. The caves maintain a temperature of 58 degrees, making layered clothing ideal when visiting.

Next stop is lunch at a nearby restaurant then relax and enjoy a scenic drive on the peaceful side of the Smokies taking in the panoramic views of the mountains on the Foothills Parkway. We will be stopping at a place called Look Rock that has a nice overlook area, as well as an observation tower with breathtaking 360-degree views for those who want to take the short half-mile hike uphill to the tower.
