After sufficiently waking up, I decide it is time to go take a shower. I grab my towel and my ever so important shower tote. To me, the shower tote is a very important aspect of my morning. It not only contains soap and shampoo for the shower, but also my toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, brush, and contact solution. Without it I would be in despair; it holds everything I need to be clean and healthy. In this picture, I darkened it to show my room is still cold, but I sharpened it a bit to show I have

woken up.

With my shower tote and towel in hand, I head down the hallway. A very important aspect of my morn-ing routine, the hallway guides me from my room to the bathroom. In the mornings it seems like a dark tunnel since I am still quite sleepy and dreary upon passage through it. For this picture I darkened the image to show the hallways darkness in the morning. I also darkened the edges of the screen to show

my “tunnel vision” I have during the morning while walking down the hall.

For the next stage of my morning, I head to the bathroom. Once I get there I take a shower, put in my contacts, and brush my teeth. In this picture, I made it a warmer color to indicate that I am now warm and have woken up. I also made it sharper and more vivid to show that I have now put my

contacts in and I can see well.

On the next leg of my morning routine, I head back to my room. I usually relax for about fteen minutes by eating breakfast and watching television before I head to class. I relax on my futon, eat a Pop-Tart, and drink some milk

while watching Sportscenter. This picture, like the previous one is made warmer to indicate my room has warmed up. I also sharpened it to show I am fully awake and ready for

the dthe day.

Once I see that the clock is fteen minutes past the hour, I know it is time to leave for class. I turn off the TV, throw out my breakfast, and most importantly pack my bacmy backpack. My back pack is a very important aspect of my day in that it holds all my books and materials I need for class; therefore, packing my backpack is an im-portant routine I must do each morning. I put my folders, notebooks, two pencils and a pen in my backpack and then I am ready for the day. In this picture, I sharp-ened the image greatly to show my mind is ready for the day and ready to

learn.

After packing up my backpack, I shut off the lights and lock my door. I then begin to ride one of my favorite things to class, my longboard. With my longboalongboard I get to class in half the time and it is a fun way to get around rather than walking. Once on my longboard, I know my morning routine has nished and nished and my day has begun. In this photo, I did not

change much because my morning routine has ended; therefore, it no longer inuences mmy state of mind or being. I did however sharpen the image to show my mind and body are ready for the day and all that it may bring thanks to

another successfully morning routine.
