mouthwatering crock pot recipes. Crock pot recipes are easily made in a slow
cooker. It is simple to use and can save lots of time. When buying a Crockpot, it's
best to get one that has a detachable liner. You may also spray the inner liner using
cooking spray. So are you ready? Let's go...
Italian Chicken Dinner Crock Pot Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
11/2 c Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 c Parmesan cheese, grated
8 oz can tomato sauce
6 oz can tomato paste
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup onion, diced
1 t sugar
2 t dried oregano
1/2 t dried basil
2 T olive oil
Cooked spaghetti, fettuccine or noodles of choice
Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Add salt and pepper to the chicken, add to skillet and brown on both sides.
Place chicken on the bottom of a 3.5 quart or larger crock-pot.
Add all remaining ingredients except for cheese and noodles to a medium
bowl and mix.
Pour mixture over chicken and cook, covered, for 6 hours on low.
Sprinkle cheese over chicken and continue cooking, covered, until cheese is
melted.
Serve over hot cooked noodles.
Easy Chicken Stew Crock Pot Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs
3 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 c frozen corn
10.75 oz can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz can tomato sauce
Envelope dry onion soup mix
1 c water
1 T olive oil
1/8 t black pepper
Steps:
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Chop chicken into bite sized pieces.
Add chicken to skillet and cook until lightly browned.
Place chicken and remaining ingredients into a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot
and mix.
Cook, covered, for 8 hours on low.
Creamy Crock Pot Chicken and Mushrooms
Ingredients:
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut in bite-sized pieces
1 garlic clove, minced
2 ribs of celery, sliced
1 green pepper, chopped
8 oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
103/4 oz can cream of chicken soup
103/4 oz can cream of celery soup
8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
4 oz jar pimentos, drained
2 T olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Add chicken, salt and pepper and saute in oil for 3 minutes.
In a 3.5 quart or larger crock pot, add chicken. Add celery, mushrooms,
pimentos, green pepper and garlic.
Pour soups over chicken and veggies and mix.
Cook, covered, for 6-7 hours on low.
Add cheese and mix.
Continue cooking, covered, for 10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Also works well served with mashed potatoes.
Barbecued Chicken and Vegetables Crock Pot Recipe
Ingredients:
2.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 c barbecue sauce
1/2 c water
4 medium potatoes, unpeeled and cut into eighths
8 carrots, cut into 2 inch pieces
Steps:
Layer potatoes and carrots in the bottom of a 4-6 quart crock-pot.
Layer chicken on top of veggies.
Pour water into crock.
Spread sauce over chicken with brush.
Cook, covered, for 8 hours on low, or until chicken and veggies are tender.
Swiss Steak Crock Pot Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lbs round steak, 3/4 inch thick
15 oz can tomato sauce
1 celery stalk, sliced
1 large carrot, chopped
1 large onion, sliced
1 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1/4 c flour
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Steps:
In a medium bowl, combine salt, pepper and flour.
Cut steak into serving size pieces.
Add steaks one at a time to flour mixture; coat.
In bottom of crock pot add onions, meat, Worcestershire, carrots, celery and
tomato sauce in that order.
Cook, covered, on low for 8 -10 hours.
Cheese Ravioli and Sausage
Ingredients:
1 lb Italian sausage without casing, browned and drained
9 oz package refrigerated cheese ravioli
24-28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
141/2 oz can Italian style diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 c Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 c Parmesan cheese, grated
Steps:
Combine sausage, spaghetti sauce and tomatoes into crock-pot; mix well.
Cook, covered, for 7 hours on low.
Mix in ravioli, cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Turn off slow cooker, top with cheese and cover.
Let stand for 5 - 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted; serve.
Country Style Pork Ribs
Ingredients:
4-5 lbs country style pork ribs
2 (14.5 oz) cans stewed tomatoes or Italian style tomatoes, diced
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
2 celery stalks, sliced
1/2 c red wine or red wine vinegar
1/2 c water
1 t beef or chicken bouillon granules (whatever is in your pantry)
3 T olive oil
Garlic salt to taste
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Steps:
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Rub ribs with garlic salt, salt and pepper.
Add ribs to skillet and cook over high heat until browned on both sides (1-2
minutes per side).
Add ribs and remaining ingredients to 6 quart crock-pot and cook, covered,
for 8 -10 hours on low.
