7 Signs of Life “Sensitivity”

Dictionary Definition

“Sensitivity is the awareness of the

needs and emotions of others.”

There are five ways he (Paul) refreshed. I would

suggest you apply these to your life to. A sensitive

Christian refreshes others by:

1. By his presence

• Refreshers often minister by their presence• Hebrews 10:25 – “lets not forsake our

assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

2. By his acceptance

• 2 Timothy 1:16 – Onesiphorus showed acceptance

• We need to be merciful, just like our father is merciful (Luke 6:36)

3. By his cheerfulness

• Proverbs 15:13 – “A joyful heart makes a cheerful face”

• When Onesiphorus left Paul was filled with a new hope an encouragement.

4. By his persistent focus

on others• Where Paul was often refreshed because of a

focus to serve from Onesiphorus• Philippians 2:4-5

5. By his great courage

• 2 Timothy 1:17 highlights how Onesiphorus activity hunted down Paul

• In Rome you were guilty by association

Two key points1.No Christian should ever have to suffer alone.

2. Every Christian should be a refresher

Proverbs 11:25 “He who refreshes others will himself

be refreshed”
