OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST CASSEROLES
CHRISTMAS MORN CASSEROLE

Christmas Morn Casserole is the ideal way to start any
holiday morning. This sausage and egg casserole is
prepared ahead of time and refrigerated overnight
before getting baked in the morning. Because all you
have to do is put it in the oven, this Christmas morning
breakfast casserole is perfect for both your busiest
and your laziest mornings. If you try this deliciously
cheesy casserole then it is sure to become a new
tradition in your household.
Ingredients
6 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 cup biscuit baking mix (such as Bisquick)
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded 1 lb. bulk pork sausage, browned, drained, and cooled (I prefer Jimmy Dean Original)
Recipe
1.
To the beaten eggs, add milk, mustard and oregano. Whisk until blended.
2.
Add in baking mix, cheese, and sausage. Mix well with a heavy wooden spoon.
3. Pour into a greased 9 X 13-inch casserole dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
4. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 60 minutes or until browned. Serve warm.

CRACKER BARREL HAM AND EGG CASSEROLE

Breakfast casseroles are great because they can oftenbe made ahead of time so that all you have to do in the
morning is pop them in the oven. You can prepare this
recipe for Cracker Barrel Ham and Egg Casserole at
night and then enjoy a restaurant-quality meal in the
morning without any fuss or effort. This easy breakfast
casserole recipe is full of great ham and cheese flavor,
and it is sure to get your day off to a great start.
Ingredients
cup lean cooked diced ham (country cured ham if available)
1 slice sourdough bread (remove crust and cut to fit bottom of casserole dish)
4 to 5 eggs, beaten (you want one cup of eggs)
cup evaporated milk
teaspoons salt
teaspoons ground black pepper
cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
Recipe
1.
Spray casserole dish with a non-stick spray and place sourdough bread on the bottom of
casserole dish.
2. Beat eggs; add salt, pepper and evaporated milk and mix thoroughly. Pour egg mixture over
bread.
3. Sprinkle diced ham and shredded cheese over egg mixture and cover with plastic wrap or
another type of lid. Place casserole in the refrigerator overnight or in refrigerator for at
least five hours.
4.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 20 to 22 minutes, depending on the depth of the
casserole dish. You will know this is completely done when you shake the dish slightly and
the eggs do not wiggle.

ENGLISH MUFFFIN EGG CASSEROLE

This easy breakfast casserole is great for a holiday
breakfast or for a brunch, but it also makes a greatweeknight meal. English Muffin Egg Casserole takes
the great flavors that you normally find in a breakfast
sandwich and turns it into a tasty and easy breakfast
casserole. This recipe uses bacon, but you can easily
use sausage in its place. The great thing about this
casserole is that you prepare it ahead of time and
then let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. In the
morning all you have to do is bake it!
Ingredients
lb. bacon, chopped (bulk pork sausage would also work well)
cup diced mushrooms
cup diced onion
3 English muffins, cubed into 1-inch pieces
1 cups grated cheddar cheese
5 eggs
1 cup half-and-half
cup milk
Salt and pepper, to taste
Recipe
1.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until
almost done, stirring frequently. Add mushroom and onion and cook for an additional 5 to 7
minutes or until vegetables are tender and bacon is fully cooked. Drain.
2. Arrange the English muffins in a single layer in a small baking dish (an 8-inch square dish or
similar size works well). Top with the bacon and vegetable mixture, and then sprinkle with
cheese.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, half-and-half, milk, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Slowly
pour the egg mixture into the baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for about 8 hours.
4. Prior to baking, remove casserole from refrigerator and allow to sit on the counter at room
temperature for about 30 minutes.
5.
Bake casserole, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes or until eggs are completely
set. After about 20 to 25 minutes of baking time, check the casserole. If the top is getting too
brown, cover with aluminum foil for remainder of baking.

BAKED FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE

Baked French Toast Casserole is sure to become yournew go-to breakfast recipe to feed a crowd. This
overnight French toast casserole is a great recipe to
make for breakfast on special occasions and holidays.
All of the prep for this recipe can be done the night
before, which makes serving breakfast in the
morning a breeze. You can also top the casserole with
a bit of powdered sugar or maple syrup for an
additional bit of sweetness.
Ingredients
1 loaf challah, French, or Italian bread
3 cups whole milk
8 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
pinch salt
For the topping:
cup granulated sugar
cup brown sugar
teaspoon ground cinnamon
cup chopped pecans
Recipe
1.
Begin by cutting the loaf of bread into slices and then 1-inch cubes. Place the cubes in a
greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
2.
Combine the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl. Pour over the
bread cubes, making sure that all of the bread is evenly coated.
3.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight.
4.
After the casserole has been refrigerated for at least 8 hours, preheat the oven to 350
degrees F and make the topping.
5.
For the topping: Combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and pecans.
Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
6.
Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a knife inserted into the
center of the casserole comes out clean. If the casserole browns too quickly, cover it
with aluminum foil for the remainder of the cooking time.
7. Serve hot with powdered sugar or maple syrup, if desired.

BUTTER ROLLS

Everyone loves their cinnamon roll recipe, but you haven't lived
until you have tried this recipe for Butter Rolls. A homemade
pastry crust is rolled into a spiral and then sliced into rolls. The
rolls are then placed in a baking dish and doused in a sweet milk
mixture that bakes to a custard-like finish. This sweet and
creamy breakfast bake will remind you of a decadent cross
between gooey pie crust and cinnamon rolls.
Ingredients
2 cups flour
teaspoon salt 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, cold
cup cold water
cup (1 sticks) butter, softened
cup white sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups milk
cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 7x11 baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt. Use a pastry cutter to cut in the butter. When
you have coarse crumbs, add the cup of water and stir. Use your hands to press the dough
together. Place dough in fridge for 10 minutes to make it a bit easier to work with.

3. Generously sprinkle your workspace with flour.
4. Roll the dough out into a 12x10 rectangle. Spread the softened butter evenly over the
pastry. Sprinkle with the cup of sugar and cinnamon.

These Caramel Sticky Buns are the perfect bakedgood to serve to friends and family on holidays and
special occasions. This easy sticky buns recipe tastes
like it took a long time to make, but the recipe
actually comes together quickly and only requires 4
ingredients. If you are feeding a crowd, be sure to
make a double batch of these sticky buns. Make sure
everyone is happy by making one batch with nuts
and one without. Your holiday breakfast spread will
never again be complete without these Caramel
Sticky Buns on the table!
Ingredients
18 frozen dinner rolls (such as Rhodes)
3.5 ounce package butterscotch cook & serve pudding (NOT INSTANT)
1 stick butter
cup brown sugar
chopped nuts (optional)
Recipe
1.
Grease or spray a bundt pan with non-stick oil. Sprinkle with nuts (optional). Place
frozen rolls in pan.
2. Sprinkle half of the package of pudding over rolls. Make sure the pudding is NOT the
instant kind! Melt butter and brown sugar together and pour over rolls. Sprinkle with a
few more chopped nuts.
3. Cover pan with greased foil and put a dishtowel over the foil. Place in a warm place
overnight (the oven works great, as long as it is turned off).
4.
In the morning, bake at 325 degrees F for 30 minutes. Invert immediately onto a large
plate.

GOOEY ORANGE MONKEY BREAD

Everyone loves monkey bread, and this recipe forGooey Orange Monkey Bread puts a twist on the
classic breakfast recipe. This easy monkey bread
recipe is perfect for weekend mornings and it is
festive enough to be served for Christmas
breakfast. It's even easy enough to whip up during
the week. This 5-ingredient monkey bread recipe
is made by dipping refrigerated rolls into a
mixture of butter and orange juice. The rolls are
then coated in a combination of sugar and orange
zest. Everyone is sure to love this sweet breakfast
recipe.
Ingredients
1 cups granulated sugar
zest of one orange
cup orange juice
cup butter, melted
2 tubes Pillsbury Orange Rolls, cut into fourths
Recipe
1.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 10-inch bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a small bowl, combine sugar and orange zest. In a separate bowl, combine orange juice
and melted butter. Dip biscuit dough pieces in butter mixture, roll in sugar mixture, and
place in prepared pan.
3. Pour remaining butter mixture over the biscuits. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden
brown. Let cool for a few minutes, then turn bundt pan over onto a serving platter and
remove pan.
4.
To prepare the glaze: Microwave frosting cups for 12 to 15 second each. Drizzle over top ofbread. Sprinkle with additional orange zest (if desired).
