– Pledges by both parties– Best efforts performance– CSI: Seed fundraising, technical support– NGO: Execute pilot as Non-Profit; forms For-Profit for

future bridge grants, bank loans or investment funding to take to scale

– On completion of Pilot Non-Profit owns units– On completion of for-profit organization transfers to

for profit– If fails at Non-Profit stage CSI can help with re-

deployment elsewhere

Consortium (SMC) • Consortium is non-profit w/ open source sharing goals• SMC will enable CSI to lend pro-bono technical

support, communicate with all parties openly, equally• SMC gives group greater strength in management,

fundraising, global visibility as group championing global community empowerment

• IEEE CSI can continue to support with pro-bono design, problem analysis advice, training, upgrades, future enhancement initiatives etc
