integrity, and reusable drum. We offer

a range of standard ‘open top’ and

‘closed top’ designs in a wide range of

sizes and capacities.

The range is supplemented by a large

number of drum handling options –

discharge cones, dollies, aluminium

shipping pallets, discharge pumps,

hoists and tippers. Briggs fabricate to

the highest standards with a pedigree

that stretches back over 260 years.

Our drums are ideal for applications

where high standards of hygienic

construction are required – as in our

vaccine containment vessels. Briggs

vessels are built tough too – a factor

highly valued in the nuclear industry

and many others.

• Lid/clampband assemblies are easy and fast to use without the need for additional tooling

• 'O' ring lid seals fit snugly and positively, but are easily removed for cleaning or sterilization

• Clampbands can be secured or tab-sealedfor identification and tamper evidence

• Straight-sided drums with a piston-force discharge pump provide acost-effective and efficient methodof handling pastes and creams

• Concentric or eccentric conicaldischarge lids are available to suit all drum sizes and can include mostvalve terminations to meet specificapplications

• Filling lids can be supplied to fulfilindividual customer specifications

• Drum dollies are available in various styles to suit all drum sizes

dedicated ancillary units to aid the swift,

safe and convenient handling of all Briggs

Drums. These include heavy-duty castored

drum dollies, movement trolleys, hoists,

hoppers, lift/tilt units, supports,

dust-free filling equipment and piston-

force discharge pumps. Specialised

stainless steel processing components

including filters, dispensers, feed units

and similar items can be

designed and provided to aid

particular processes such as

blending, mixing,
