3.1 Install Hard Disk

Chapter 3:Installation

NOTICE: Don’t take out HDD when DVR is running. Make sure the HDD is set to be MASTER according to the hard drive

manual.(1) Remove the screws around the top cover; (2) Remove the top cover carefully;(3) Connect the power cord and data cable to hard disk carefully;(4) Use the provided screws to fix hard disk on the rack inside and then replace the top cover of the case.

3.2 Connecting Camera and MonitorThere are 4/9 camera inputs and 2/1Monitor outputs with BNC connectors(Refer to 2.2 Rear Panel).

3.3 VGA Output(Optional)There is 1 CRT or LCD monitor output with VGA port.

3.4 Connectiong Power SupplyPlease only use the power adapter supplied with the DVR。

After connecting the power adapter and turning on the power button,the system will boot-up and display the version and released date of the DVR firmware.

DVR will detect the installed hard drive and display the hard drive information.

When the DVR detects a new hard drive,you will be prompted to format the hard drive before using the DVR.Press [SEL] to format or press[MENU] to cancel.

Record Setup allows you to set up recording channels.Press[▲,▼,◄◄ and ►►] buttons to select a channel, and then press [SEL] to modify the setting to ON or OFF.If a channel is disabled in Camera Setup,it will not record and the DVR will display “NOCAM”on screen.

The total frame rate is 50fps(PAL)or 60fps(NTSC).You can set the frame rate for the channel which you select to record.If the sum of the frame rate you select for all cameras is more than 50fps(PAL)/60fps(NTSC),the DVR will automatically adjust the largest frame rate value to a smaller value.

Press[▲,▼,◄◄ or ►►]button to select a channel,and then press [SEL] to increase the value or press [■STOP] to reduce the value.

Setting the Record Schedule allows you to customize the type of recording depending on the time of day.Video Quality has 4 different settings:Highest,High,Normal and Low.The higher the video quality,the better quality of Images,however higher quality images require more hard drive space.Press [SEL] to change the quality setting.

NO-RECORD[ white]:DVR will not record during the time.NORMAL-RECORD[ red]DVR will record continuously.SENSOR-RECORD[ red+s]DVR will record when sensor or motion is triggered.NOTE: In order to activate the record schedule,press the [ ]record button when viewing the cameras. After pressing the [ ]record button,if schedule is set to “NORMAL-RECORD”,the DVR will start to record immediately;if the schedule is set to be “SENSOR-RECORD”,the DVR will not start recording until a motion is detected by the DVR or an installed sensor is triggered.

The time line indicates 24 hours of a day based on AM/PM (0=12).Press [▲,▼,◄◄ or ►►]button to modify the recording mode.Select a time point,press[SEL] to change the quality setting.

Sensor Record time indicates how long the recording time is when the motion or sensor is triggered.Alarm On Time indicates whether the buzzer will sound when motion is detected.

Area Selection:Press[▲,▼,◄◄ or ►►] button to select a block,and press [SEL]button to set the block to detect motion.The area is detectable when it is clear,the area is not detectable when it is covert by shadow.

This section will display the current hard drive status and usage optionsOVERWRITE ENABLED:ON:overwrite oldest video when hard drive is full.OFF:stop recording when hard drive is full.

HDD SIZE:indicates the total capacity of the hard drive installed in the DVR.HDD USED:indicates the space used in the hard disk drive for recording and the percent used.HDD FORMAT:will erase all video and data on the installed hard drive and make it readable by the DVR.Note:You will be prompted for the password when formatting a hard drive.The default password is “111111”5.12 Miscellaneous Setup – Change Password

This option allows you to change the system password.The password must be composed with six characters.All keys can be used as password key except the [MENU] key,which is used to exit.

Enter the current password first,and then enter six characters as your new password,repeat the new password to confirm. If you forget your password,please contact technical support for assistance.

5.14 Miscellaneous Setup – Hidden Channel

The system date and time format is YYYY/MM/DD and HH:MM:SS.Press[◄◄] or [►►] button to select the data to modify,press [SEL] to modify.Press [MENU] to save and return to previous menu.

The system provides a function to hide a channel in monitoring mode. The selected channel can still be recorded while it’s hidden;the hidden picture is viewable during playing back.

Press [SEL] to select a channel to hide.

You can select the audio recording function to NO or OFF,and select the video channel that you like to record the audio on .

5.21 Network Setup

MAC ADDRESS:In a local area network(LAN),the MAC (Media Access Control) address is your computer’s unique hardware identity code(On an Ethernet LAN,it is the same as your Ethernet address).When you are connected to the Internet from your computer(or host as the Internet protocol thinks of it),a corresponding table relates your IP address to your computer’s physical(MAC)address on the LAN. (IMPORTANT:This setting should only be changed if multiple DVRs are being setup on the same network and the first code“00” must not to be changed. )

IP ADDRESS:In a local network,the IP address is a unique designated address for your DVR recognized by your router.Ensure this number is within the range usable by your modem/router.Use the [▲] and [▼] buttons to move the cursor and use the [SEL] button to change the numbers.Once you have finished the changes restart your DVR.

SUBNET MASK:Subnet Mask is used to determine what subnet an IP address belongs to.A number that is used to identify a sub network so that IP addresses can be recognized on a local area network.Consult your modem/router for your LAN’s subnet mask.

GATEWAY:Set this number to the gateway set by your modem/router.

安全注意事项使用手册

注意以下安全预防措施,避免人身伤害及预防对于这个产品或所有连接到它的产品的损坏。1. 使用合适的电源;

不要用比指定的电压(100~240 VAC)更高的电压来运行这个产品。2. 不能把金属物插入 DVR 中不要在 DVR 盒中插入物体,以免导致触电;3. 请不要放在潮湿或多灰尘的地方;避免把本产品放在像潮湿的地下室或多灰尘的地方。4. 请勿让此产品暴露在雨水中或潮湿的环境下;如果无意中有水进入,请拔掉电源并立即与当地的经销商联系。5. 保持产品表面的清洁和干燥;

注意: 请不要在 DVR 运行时取出硬盘;请把硬盘设置为主盘。(1) 打开 DVR 上盖。(2) 连接硬盘数据线和电源线到主板上。(3) 装好上盖。3.2 连接摄像机和监视器用 BNC 线把摄像机的信号连接到 DVR 的视频输入端,把 DVR 的视频输出信号连接到监视器上去(请参考 2.2 节的后面板示意图)。3.3 VGA 输出用 VGA 输出端口连接到显示器(可选)。3.4 连接电源请用随机附带的电源连接 DVR。

录像总资源为 50 帧(PAL)或 60 帧(NTSC),可以根据实际情况的需要而灵活地为每个通道设定录像帧数。

当 DVR 处于预览状态时,按[●REC]键来开启录像功能。当然,必须在录像预约里已经设置了录像计划。一旦 DVR 处于录像状态,屏幕上会有相应的信息显示。

[●]:表示该通道正在录像。[A-REC]:表示正常录像。[S-REC]:表示报警录像。[N-REC]:表示无录像。[39%]:表示已用的硬盘空间百分比。[M]:硬盘信息 ([M]表示主盘;[S]表示从盘)。6.2 音频录制 [ ]:表示该通道与音频输入绑定了,并且有音频现场输出。

[ ]: 表示该通道的音频处于静音状态。[ ]:表示该通道已开启了音频录制功能,并且有音频现场输出。对于 4 路 DVR,按前面板的[DOWN]键可以控制音频输出。如果是在录像状态下,即使被静音了,音频也同样被录制了。同样,可以按前面板的[UP]键来切换两路音频中的任何一路作为现场输出。对于 9 路 DVR,按前面板的[MUTE]键可以关闭音频输出。如果是在录像状

按 “在网络模式下,可以通过局域网或互联网来远程访问 DVR。”来打开远程登陆对话框,打开后,请输入所要访问的 DVR 的 IP

地址、端口号,用户名及密码,然后点“登陆”进入。

8.4 IE 远程访问 DVR在 IE 浏览器里输入远程 DVR 的 IP 地址或域名(如果端口号不是 80,请在IP 地址或域名后面加上:“端口号”,比如:192.168.1.100:20000),此时会弹出登陆主页,如下图所示:

注意:如果是第一次访问 DVR,请允许安装 IE 插件(具体方法是:在 IE的“工具” “Internet 选项” “安全” “自定义级别”的安全设置里,把所有有关安装插件的选项都设置为“启用”)

输入远程 DVR 的 IP 地址、端口号、用户名以及密码进行登陆。登陆成功后方可进行相应的操作。

按“ ”按钮,弹出如下对话框:搜索时间

输入指定的时间进行录像文件搜索,再按“OK”键进行播放。注意:此功能只在通过 IE 访问时才有效。按“ ”按钮来打开或关闭远程 DVR 连接。
