However, while the land available for oil palm planta�ons in West Malaysia and Sabah are almost exhausted, research shows that Sarawak can plant another million hectares of oil palm planta�on by the year 2020.

Sarawak’s planned expansion requires significant investment to meet exis�ng goals and to take advantage of food security needs and global demand for oils.
