8 Common Job Interview Questions and their Answers

1. Tell me about yourself?

Ans: My name is Pabitra Pramanik. I like to develop android and web applications and be involved in interesting projects. I developed an android application named"Routine" for my college. I have a website named itassignments.weebly.com. Besides all of these I like painting, singing and hanging out with friends.

2. What are your strengths?

Ans: i) I am pretty organized, what is strongly reflected in a quality of my work.

3. What are your weaknesses?

Ans: I trust people too much. It is nice to live with such feelings, but sometimes I face troubles due to that. However, as I am getting older, I can much betterdistinguish friends from foes.

4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Ans: I would like to have a really good position in Developer as well as Management position in five years of time. First of all I need to learn a lot and I believe thatthis position is a perfect start for me.

5. What do you know about your company?

Ans: I know that Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) is an Indian multinational IT service, consulting and business solutions company headquartered inMumbai, Maharashtra.6. How will you handle a change?

Ans: I am a quick learner as well as a hard­worker and I'm determined to be able to adapt to any change in working environments.

7. Do you work well under pressure?

Ans: When I was a summer intern at Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Kolkata, I was given a project to design and develop an information system for theiremployees. The technology that we used was new to me as well as to my other team members and we have to complete the whole project within 30 days. All of myteam members were stressed at that time but I was assuring them that it (the project) would be completed and we really worked hard and sometimes I had to worklate nights. Finally we have completed the project within the given time with proper documentation. Thus I can say that I can work well under pressure.

 

8. How do you make important decisions?

Ans: I make important decisions by discussing as a team and seeking information and opinion from senior staffs and peers.
