What do you give

someone who travels

and doesn't want to

accumulate unnecessary

stuff?

Page 3: 8 Thoughtful Gifts for Travellers

Here are 8ideas

Page 4: 8 Thoughtful Gifts for Travellers

#1 Give an experience

When I was 16 I saved up for a

year to give my parents a

weekend trip to Rome.

I love giving and receiving gifts

like this.

Not only do they take up less space in a suitcase they are

also fun and create something precious: memories. Try

Wonderbox for experience gift ideas.

#2 A Portable Blender/Juicer

It's alot of fun to try out local foods

but sometimes they're not the best

for our body. For example try (only)

eating baguettes and cheese

everyday for a year. (I KNOW IT'S

TEMPTING)

Buying fruit and veg from the local markets is a great

way to experience local life and you can smoothify them

in the mornings to still get a dose of vitamins.

#3 A Packable Winter Coat

If your traveller is

heading somewhere

with winters this is

a MUST item.

Uniqlo's coats are

like sleeping bags.

They pack into tiny bags and are made with hi-tech down

that keeps warm even in harsh cold. Words cannot

explain how much I love them.

#4 A Kindle or Tablet

If your traveller is a

bookworm check whether

they have a Kindle or tablet. I

wasn't a fan until I discovered

that I could download books

at the speed of sound (nearly).

For booklovers this is like crack on demand (no waiting

for the book to arrive by snailmail). I suggest a tablet

rather than a Kindle because they'll also be able to do

other things with it. The Kindle app is free.

#5 Perfume Sticks Ok so this is more one for

female travellers. I had to

include it because I think

the idea is brilliant. Solid

perfume sticks that don't

break, spill or get stuck

in your suitcase!

They slowly release their scent and are totally natural.

Check them out here.

#6 Language Learning

If your traveller is determined to

pierce through the fog of not

understanding the local language

check out the Fluent Forever site.

It has great resources such as apps

and lists of the most common

words in many languages.

#7 Passion Planner This is a great planner to

give because it allows you

to combine several things

in one: action lists,

gratitude journaling and

ideas. I also like Danielle

LaPorte's Desire Map

Planner.

#8 Travel Towel

Ok so this isn't the sexiest item

BUT bear with me because it's

just SO useful. These micro-

fibre towels dry very quickly

and take up next to no space in

a suitcase. The perfect way to

always have a clean towel

when travelling.

So there you have it.

Are there any gifts you'd

add to this list? Let me

know in the comments!
