INSTRUCTIONS1. Memory requires: RPACTR - Relaxation, Priority, Association,

Concentration, Testing and Reward. Be positive and expect succes.

2. Study with a partner or small group to make learning fun.

3. Relax with IRT in 1-5b minutes,

4. Play the complete audio tape (with the Exhibits A-H) repeating every word to become familiar with the language. Do NOT study the exhibits at this stage - just keep them in view as you listen and speak continuously.

5. Then do the program on basic anatomy language to feel instinctively the meaning of new words. For each section (eg for Bones):

a. Play again that part of the audio tape (Bones) and repeat the words, while reviewing Exhbits A & B (Bones). b. Draw a rough copy of the Exhibits A & B without labels c. Work through all sections of 8301 (Bones) and label your drawing, while touching your own body and speaking all the time. and then proceed in the same way with sections 8302 to 8306. 6. Next day, complete the Test Pack. Do not mark the pack. Keep a notebook for answers, errors and corrections. Do the tests three times over thre days.

7. Overall:

Relax with IRT and as you learn a new word ... hear it ... say it ... see it ... draw it ... write it ... do it ... move it ... feel it etc. .... using your own body (or a lovely partner's) ... as a way to remember without effort ... like a new langauge ... becoming instinctively part of you ... and be sure ... so make it fun ...

APPENDIX 1MEMORY ALERT IRT - INSTANT RELAXATION TECHNIQUE

1. See well and feel well. This is a simple IRT exercise, to give you confidence to learn naturally. When you don't believe you can learn ... then learning can be difficult! ... When you are tense, anxious and stressed ... then learning can be difficult! When you have no confidence ... then learning can be difficult. But with relaxation, your mind and body become clear, confident and ready to learn. So do the IRT exercise now ... and again before every CRE session. It takes only 1-5 minutes, and with practice, it becomes a powerful tool for you. The only "equipment" you need is an "open mind" and a marble (or similar small object) in your "right" (major) hand.

2. So, get into that comfortable position, in which you know ... you really can relax. Be aware that marble gets warm as it absorbs heat from contact with your right hand. Open you hand and allow the warmth to evaporate. Close the hand again, and recognise the marble ... as a physical external symbol ... of the internal function of your mind and body. Allow it to receive and evaporate not just heat ... but emotion, anxiety and stress ... leaving you free, relaxed, confident and ready to learn improve your memory in one specific domain ... without effort ....

3. Now, relax with the hands on the lap, and fix your eyes on the marble as you repeat aloud ... the following sentence ... three times, feeling free to change the wording a little ... to fit your style ... three times ... aloud ... in all:

"I AM QUITE STILL ... AND RELAXED ... I AM, I CAN, I WILL, I BELIEVE ... THAT I WILL BE CONFIDENT ... AND POSITIVE ... TO LEARN AND TO EXERCISE MY NEW LANGUAGE... NATURALLY ... EASILY... WITHOUT EFFORT ... USING THE ANCHOR WORDS - MEMORY ALERT"

25

Page 26: 83 RAINBOW YELLOW - MUSCLES 8310 · Web viewMuscles make up the rotator cuff: Supre-spinatus Infra-spinatus Teres Minor Sub-scapularis P-GO-GO-Q Muscles in gluteal region: from top

4. With the eyes fixed on the marble ... or closed if you wish ... start to take three slow and very deep breaths ... and be sure to pause ... on each inhalation ... and imagine ... each exhalation ... as transferring all the anxiety and stress ... from your mind and body ... through to the marble in your hand.

5. After the third breath, let your whole mind and body relax completely for two minutes ... thinking ONLY of your breathing ... nothing else ... no self talk at all ... just concentrate on the BREATHING ... very important .. counting down from 10 to 1 ...

6. Then bring yourself back, by simply counting up from 1 to 5, feeling well, relaxed, confident and ready to learn. The marble is now your very personal symbol ... of YOUR confidence to learn ... to care for YOUR MEMORY ... to expect success.

Note: With practice this simple CRE "Instant Relaxation Technique" in 1-5 minutes. It can be used anywhere (eyes open or closed) to achieve a calm mind ... without anger, anxiety or stress ... ready and confident to learn ... or deal with any new problem ... that you have to face. Keep the marble always to hand, as a symbol ... of your confidence ... to feel comfortable ... in memory exercise ... almost instinctively ... without stress or effort ... using the "Anchor Words" - MEMORY ALERT.

Note: Each number 0-9 has CoDes (e.g. 0 = S or Z, 1 = D or T and 2 = N etc.). Can you figure them out? Ignore vowels (e.g. MaT = M T). Ignore doubling of letters (e.g. TaLL = T L). Use sounds not letters (e.g. MatCH = M CH and PHoNe = F N)

CRE MEMORY TRANING TECHNIQUE FOR EACH NEW DETAILED ANATOMY AREA - APPENDIX 3

Develope a Memory Program for each new anatomy area. Use the same program structure (like Bone) as follows:

1. Define the new area with a set of specific labelled anatomy drawings. Repeat the key concept: RPACT and REWARD.

2. Assign Key-word numbers from the 8300 system,

3. Make an audio tape repeating every word, to become familiar with the language instinctively.

4. Develop the program with short lists of 5/8 words and a snappy mnenmoic, based on 5 key drawings (labelled).

5. Develop a test pack of more drawings (labelled and unlabelled).

6. Test YOUR program. RELAX! Play the whole audio (as before). Do IRT. Then do the program to feel instinctively the meaning of the new terminology. For each section (as for Bones), work alone or bretter with a small group (for fun):

a. Play again each part of the audio tape (like Bones) and repeat the words, while reviewing the 1-5 key labelled drawings. b. Draw a rough copy of each drawing. c. Work through the program sections and label your rough drawings. Use all senses: see, hear, touch your body (or someone else's) etc. ... speaking ALL the time. d. On the next day complete the Test Pack. Play again the complete audio tape. Do the test three times over three days, relaxed and without effort.

7. Email a corrected program for comment, to [email protected]
