We are in need of new Altar Servers who wish to help at St. Law-
rence Church on Saturdays and Sundays by joining one of the vari-
ous teams and assis�ng at Masses and other events. The Knights of
the Altar are open to all current Altar Servers and any new boy or
girl who wishes to join. We would like to find 12 � 18 new servers to
assist us at Mass. Training will be provided with teams to be lead by
current experienced servers.!!
Addi�onally, the Knights of the Altar hope to par�cipate in occasion-
al trips together to ballgames, museums, bowling, picnics and
amusement parks when possible.!!
If you are already an Altar Server at St. Lawrence Church or if you
wish to join us and become an Altar Server, please fill out a Knights
of the Altar form and drop it in the collec�on basket or hand it to Fr.

As with all church volunteers, you must a(end a Virtus Training Class

Ladies Guild News!
May 7th there will be a board meeting at 6:30 pm at Eva Cestari’s home. !
May 14th we will have a Speaker, Sister Janet Ruffing from the Sisters of
Mercy speaking on "Poetry as an Invitation to Prayer". We will be meeting in
classroom #3 at 7:00 PM.!
It has been decided with the scheduled Speakers for the April and May Gen-
eral Meetings that our time is limited, so we will dispense with all old and
new business until the June meeting.!
June 4th, 7:00 PM, General Meeting. This meeting is the last Ladies Guild
General Meeting. We will be voting on the new Officers at this meeting. !
Also all those interested in helping and modeling for our June 10th Fashion
Show, we will be mee2ng at 6:30pm on May 14th prior to the Guild General
Mee2ng. We will discuss the Summer Time Fashion Rules and the program
for the a5ernoon.!
Our next fund raiser is our Spring Fashion Show on Sunday, June 10th from
2!5 pm. Besides our many fashions we will have "Pick a Cork" for $10.00.
Anyone wishing to donate a bo8le of wine please call Katherine Turcio at

be worth at least $10.00. Let's help make this a huge success because all of
the proceeds will benefit our School at St Lawrence. !
