Looking East into the alley from 10th Street, a unique landformand sculptural work (yet to be designed) invite passers-by into a matrix of Uptown Marion’s alleyways.

The East alley entrance shows lighting and planters to create a moreinviting space and complement local businesses. The space also providesunique settings for public art.

This image looks south from 8th Avenue into the heart of the project area.

A bird’s-eye view from the North end of the alleyway shows overallfeatures of the Central Commons.

Pictured here is an overhead perspective of the Central Commons. The large mixed-use space provides opportunities to showcase future art installations as well as the performing arts.
