• We are a group of 29 talented teenagers. We are all experts !

Leonardo• I am excellent at learning new languages; in fact I

learned three which are: Italian, English and French.The hardest language I think was English, that is because I arrived in Canada without knowing a single word. The way I learn languages is very simple: as first thing I start talking to people. After, I try to learn the words that I did not know. What I think is the most important thing is to watch TV. It might sound strange, but it really helps and after a while you get the hang of it. Once you have learnt a foreign language, it will help you communicate with others wherever you are !

Patrick• I am an expert at judo. It is an oriental sport from

Japan. I have practised this sport since I was seven years old. Now I am a great judoka and I think I will continue to practise this sport for my whole life.I like Judo very much, because in this sport you have to respect other judokas and you must accept the defeat. I practise Judo twice a week, from 7.15 to 8.30 pm. This year I want to be the best athlete and possibly win the Paris tournament, but to do this, I am going to train hard.

Laura• I really like English and American songs.When I

listen to a song, even if I do not read the lyrics, I understand most of the words. And if I like the song, I learn all the lyrics and I remember them for a long, long time. I think it is because I have a good memory, and because if I like a thing, I just remember it, the only thing that I do not like is when I learn all the lyrics of a song, and after some time, I do not like it anymore, but I still remember all the lyrics.I do not know if it is the thing that I do best, but it is one of my favourite hobbies.

Lorenzo

• I am really good at playing football, because I love football. When I was three years old I went to a football stadium with my father for the first time. Now that I live in Paris, I go to Champs de Mars with my friends every day. I really enjoy playing football!

Alessandra

• Hello ! My name is Alessandra, I am 13 years old and I have a lot of hobbies: I love dancing and listening to music. I am good at canoeing but I am an expert at running, I am a real fast runner. I love to go to the cinema, but I prefer to go to the theatre, see a musical, a comedy, a play by Shakespeare, a thriller and a ballet. My dream is to become an actress !

Filippo

• My name is Philip, I am 14 and I live in Paris, the capital of France. My favourite sports are volleyball and dodgeball, because I love balloon sports, and I am very good at playing them. Here, I met some friends, I am very good at making new friends, because I love people and I am good at making people smile, also because I am great at imitating others.

Diego

• My hobby is guns: not the real ones but fake guns. I am saving money to buy one. It is made of metal, and does not cost very much, only 80 euros. I started with a rifle contest and I won a plastic gun. I was eight years old. I still have this hobby, because I am really good at it. I did a gun shooting course when I was ten years old. I ranked eleventh !

Gianluca• I spend my free time in different ways: I often go to

the park with my dad. While my father is running, I run after him on my rollers or we go for a ride with the bike. I usually read adventure books and comics. I watch TV, especially scientific documentaries and cartoons. But my favorite hobby is playing with my Wii. I have lots of games but my favorite is Call of Duty Black Ops which is a war game. As the Wii is connected to the internet, I can play online with people that are world-wide. The Wii is very useful, it allows to send messages to the other players and I write messages in English.

Alexia

• Hello ! I am Alexia! I often see scary movies. I like them so much because I love horror, but there are not a lot of really interesting movies. It is one of my hobbies. I love sports too, every kind of sport. My favorite sport is track and field, I run very fast but I am not good at endurance. My idol is Bolt.I practise swimming and volleyball. They are fantastic sports.Then I can say that my hobbies are all kinds of sports.

Chiara

• The thing I do best is dancing. I love dancing and I started when I was only 3. When I grow up I would like to become an actress as I really like acting. I am also good at playing volleyball and I can use the computer very well. I have practised many sports but this year I am only studying !

Luca

• What I do best is playing basketball. I have been practising it for almost seven years. I am great at basketball because I am tall and I have got talent.Basketball is a very nice sport, it is a team and cooperation game, we must score in the opponent hoop.I really want to become a basketball professional, because after that I will be able to go to the USA and become a rich NBA player !

Mouad

• I am very good at playing videogames. My favourite videogame is Infamous 2. It is a combat game and I also like playing  football matches very much. I am very good at football !

Livia• I think that what I do best is skiing. I just love it, I

often go to ski in the weekend or at Christmas. It is my favourite sport. I practise it in Switzerland, in St.Moritz with my friends. I ski with the Alpina St. Moritz team. I also do many ski races, but it is very difficult to win because some athletes are really experienced and they sky every day. I have been skiing since I was three and I like it very much. In the future I want to become a ski champion, and go to the Olympics.I also love track -and- field and tennis.

Debora

• Hello my name is Debora, I am 14 and I have a lot of hobbies. I love running and listening to music. I am good at cooking and playing volleyball. I love playing sports with my friends. My favorite sport is volleyball. My dream is to become a lawyer.

Federica

• I really like cooking. It is not what I do best, but sometimes I cook with my mother or alone. When I am alone I use the cookbook, I choose the recipe and I cook it. I usually cook in the evening, when my mother is not at home, and when she comes back and goes to the kitchen, I show her the recipe that I prepared, shouting Surprise !

Pietro

• I am an expert at taekwondo, a martial art. I have trained for nearly four years and I am improving more and more... I will continue until I get a black belt. After, I will be arrested! I am also an expert at running. At primary school I ran a lot so I think that is why I am fast and tough. Every Wednesday I train for an hour.

Michele

• Hello ! My name is Michele. I am excellent at playing soccer, I train twice a week, playing as goalkeeper in a team. I like to play as a midfielder because I like running. I am a big fan of Rome. I went to the stadium. It was a draw, once we lost and we also won. I hate Milan, Inter and especially Lazio. None of my family likes football, except my grandpa who is a Juventus fan.

Daniele

• I am good at playing computer games or at playing play-station games, I am also good at playing chess, playing football and swimming. I am good at cooking pizza, spaghetti and other food. I am also good at sleeping, watching TV and listening to music !

Antonio

• I really like tennis. My favourite players are Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. I began to practise tennis when I was eleven. I am very good at tennis and I train hard. I even take part in tennis tournaments and I often win. One day, when I grow up, I would like to win the Roland-Garros. My family believes that I can become a tennis champion.

Giada

• I am an expert at skating. Skating is my passion. I started skating when I was 6. I skate in my free time. I also practised swimming but I prefer skating. I did it first as a sport but now it is just a hobby.

Camilla• I really like writing. I prefer to write adventure stories

and comic stories rather than poems. I write stories in my free time or for homework.Last year I won a literature prize. I wrote a comic story and after Mrs. Gelmi, our Italian teacher, sent my text to the contest board. One month later, Mrs. Gelmi told me about the contest. I had won! I remember I was very happy! When I grow up I do not know if I will become a journalist but it could be. I can write in Italian and in French and I am learning to write in English.

Omar• I really like football, this passion started when I was 4

and my father enrolled me in the neighbourhood football league. On Sunday and Saturday we play against a team and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday we train. I still remember my first goal, I kicked the ball from mid field, it was great but I no longer play with a team. I stopped when I was 11 but I sometimes play football with my friends. I also like computer games, I have a computer at home and I play war and fight games.

Ilaria

• Hello, I am Ilaria. I do not have special hobbies but I do gym and I love that. I am great at running, too. I love reading, now I am reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in French, I love that. I am also good at climbing trees. I speak Italian and French very well. I am very good at making little children smile. I am good at making new friends because I am m very friendly.

Lisa

• I am good at drawing and I love it. What I prefer is the final touch, it is so rewarding; I look at what is good and it makes me so proud. As soon as I can, I take my pencils and I start drawing. In fact, I would like it to be my job. I would like to be a comic illustrator. That is why I am going to practise my favorite hobby at Balzac High School in Paris, where there is an Artistic Class. I have already taken art classes at the Louvre Museum but this year I am going to take comics classes.

Salomé• I love cooking and drawing. Cooking is a passion. I

can bake cakes, but also cook pasta, meat, fish, etc. Everyone says that I am an excellent chef. Go into the kitchen, put the apron, look in the recipe book and get the meal ready. I also love drawing. In my family, we all like drawing: my mother draws, my aunt is an art teacher, my uncle is a painter, my brother and my grandma both draw. I have drawing lessons with a teacher and I especially love watercolors. I also love reading. I can read a book in one day ! I have hundreds of books. We have got a library at home. I write too. Wel, I am not an expert, it is just a hobby !

Davide

• I can make a video, and I play basketball with my cousin. I am good at computer games and swimming. I play football with my uncle. I like going to the park with my friends

Giulia

• My favourite hobby is cooking, not pasta or beef, but cakes. Baking cakes for me is relaxing and I love to eat them (everybody says that they are excellent). Sometimes, I make one before the day of an exam which makes me feel better and it works. I do not know why! I can make a lot of different cakes like cookies, chocolate cakes, American biscuits, tiramisu and other kinds of sweet stuff. Normally for the birthdays I bake the cakes myself.

Eugénie

• I am good at playing the piano and when I hear the music I like to repeat it. I often study a lot of songs and my mum buys lots of scores. Currently, I am not taking lessons with a teacher, but last year I studied at school and I was part of an orchestra. I started playing the piano at seven, because I had two friends who played the piano with me! I love playing the piano and I hope to do it forever.
