It’s a saturday morning after a long tough week at

work. You wish to leave all the tension behind and

get lost in the woods for a while.And the answer is

Turahalli forest. The Turhalli forest is a delight for

anyone who wants to get away for a brief while.

As soon as you break away from Kanakapura road

and enter the turahalli forest area, it becomes

apparent as to why you are lucky to be driving. The

road disappears and gives way to a jungle trail. The

Turalli forest consists of two hillocks and therefore

the drive is a climb up. The trail is rocky at many

places. The last bit is a steep incline. However that

is not much of a worry. You reach the top of the soon

and discover a quaint little temple and a big banyan

tree in front of it. You offer a small prayer to god and

then set about exploring the area.
