1. Body language and social manners in Hungary and a foreign country (p. 65). Gestures and their meanings (p.64). What different meaning do they carry in other countries? What is considered rude in other countries that is normal behaviour in Hungary, or just the other way round? Say 5 examples.

made. What newspapers or magazines do you know/read? 11. Types of books (e.g. in a bookshop - p.100), literary genres. Mention an example of each

genre, talk about your preferences. Tell me about your favourite book. Author, title, plot, characters, why you like it - based on the book review on p.101.

12. Introduce Shakespeare. Mention two of his tragedies and two comedies. Summarise Romeo and Juliet or Hamlet in about 5-8 sentences.

13. Introduce Wiki websites. Tell me what wiki pages you usually visit, your opinion about them.

Situations:

1. You are planning to visit Great Britain in the summer. Ask your teacher questions about social and table manners there. (Must, mustn’t, needn’t, should, shouldn’t.) Also, the teacher will ask you about a country of your choice.

2. Invite your friend (the teacher) over and invite her to another programme. Also, the teacher will invite you somewhere: accept the first invitation, decline the second one.

3. Invite your teacher to a festival. Convince her to go there, explain what you will do there and why you recommend it. The teacher will invite you, too, ask her questions about it.

4. Ask for and give advice in different situations.5. You are an expert in environment protection. Give your teacher advice about how to

protect the environment in everyday life.6. Reporting a theft, both roles. 7. You have witnessed a crime. Answer the police officer’s (the teacher’) questions about it.8. You are a reporter. Ask your teacher about his/her favourite book: author, title,

characters, plot, why he/she likes it. The teacher will ask you, too. 9. Buying books, both roles.10.
