As founder and chief executive of Investing
Women, I am delighted to welcome to participate in
our second Ambition & Growth Conference.
Investing Women is a rapidly growing community of
women angel investors, female entrepreneurs pursuing
growth and others who are equally driven to help both. The essence of this
conference is to bring together all those sharing that interest. We want to
assist entrepreneurs in general; but particularly women entrepreneurs; not
only by increasing the financial capital available, but by offering education
and mentoring support through a team of experienced and capable members
who all share the same ethos.
We believe there is a wealth of under tapped talent in Scotland - both in
potential angels and female entrepreneurs. We also believe Investing
Women can provide wide-ranging support by offering more than just money.
We are excited to welcome our fabulous speakers, workshop presenters,
those running the 121 clinics and our excellent judging panel and have been
overwhelmed by their enthusiasm and support for this event. In launching
the AccelerateHER Awards last year, we have been thrilled by the amazing
level and caliber of response. This is so encouraging for Scotland’s future.
We are fortunate to have the backing and be working in partnership with so
many great sponsors and partners; both the private sector and public sectors.
We thank those parties for their invaluable involvement in making this
conference a reality and ensuring that it will be an outstanding event and
exhilarating experience for all.
We have a day of non-stop engagement... prepare to be challenged, excited
and inspired.
Jackie Waring, CEO, Investing Women
