Acetal Copolymer (POM) is thermoplastic polymer,made by the polymerization of trioxane and othercomonomers , and are also commonly referred to aspolyoxymethylene (POM).It has gained widespread recognition for reliability inmany thousands of engineering components all overthe world, has been used in the automotive,appliance, construction, hardware, electronics, andconsumer goods industries, among others.Examples of its use can be found in AV equipmentsuch as VCRs, CD/laser disk/MD players, radiocassettes, headphone stereos, OA equipment suchas printers, keyboards, and CD-ROM drives, homeelectrical appliances such as washing machines anddryers, and auto parts such as seat belt mechanicalcomponents, outer door mirrors, door mirrors, andengine room components, as well as precisioncomponents used in such products as cameras andwatches, construction materials, toys such as gamemachines, and stationery.
