Harry Potter And The Sorcerers Stone

Characters

The main characters are Harry Potter, Ron Weasly, and Hermione Granger. The main teachers are Servus Snape, Albus Dumbledore the head master at Hogwarts, Quirrel, McGonagall, and the evil Voldemort. His Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon, Dudley, Crabbe, Goyle, and Malfoy ect.

Setting

The setting takes place at a magical school called Hogwarts school of witch craft and wizardry. The setting partly takes place at Privet Drive where Harry lived for 10 years. The setting also take place at a island, in the middle of a horrible storm where Uncle Vernon took aunt Petunia, Dudley, and Harry to get away from the letters someone has been sending to Harry to go to Hogwarts. The setting barely takes place at a hotel trying to fool whoever is sending the letters to Harry.

Summary

The summary of the book is that Harry’s parents died and he has to live with his mean cousin, aunt, and uncle. Harry lived with them for ten years but on his eleventh birthday Hagrid a giant came and got him. They got Harry's supplies for Hogwarts a magic school and when he got there he made an enemy, Malfoy. Then they learn about the sorcerer’s stone they want to save it from Voldemort and they do then, the stone is crushed by Dumbledore to see that it can never again get in the wrong hands.

Resolution

The resolution is that the stone Voldemort wants to use to get immortality will not come out of the Mirror of Erised because he intends to use it. Only people who don’t intend to use it so when Harry looked in the mirror he saw him self holding the stone then suddenly he felt something heavy in his pocket, he pulled out the Sorcerer’s stone! Then Voldemort tried to get the stone from Harry but he couldn’t get it because he had no more body so Voldemort’s soul in shame and the stone was destroyed so Voldemort would never get his hands on the Sorcerer’s stone
