Our Staff Real Jams Academy would not be the unique music experience it is without our best-in-class faculty. This diverse group of highly trained musicians and music educators draws on unparalleled talent, knowledge and passion to inspire the confidence our students need to play and create the music they want. About RealJams A Cappella From 9am to 4pm each day, students will meet at the Real School. On day one, students will form A Cappella groups and begin using only their voices to create some amazing music. Over the course of the week, students will learn about all aspects of vocal music: vocal techniques, arranging, recording, blending, tuning, beat boxing, and vocal sound-effects. The end of the week will be capped off with a final performance of their new original arrangements on the Real School stage. “There is really no greater challenge for the musical ear and voice than singing a cappella.” –Tim Bongiovanni (RealJams A Cappella coordinator) Intensive programs (like this one) have always made long-lasting improvements to my singing voice, no matter what style I'm singing, and now I want to share that experience with our students. Shooting a Music Video Students will shoot a music video that consists of live stage shots as well as conceptual ideas related to the lyrics and themes of their songs.
