Each member of a family would prayerfully con- sider to give back to the Lord a portion of their financial blessings. This would be done on a monthly or bi-monthly basis rather than weekly and your bank account would be debited on the 1 st or 15th day of each month. If you decide you would like to participate in this program fill out a form and provide a blank cheque. Forms are available at the Welcome Centre. Why are we promoting the Pre-Authorized Debit? It will cut down on the time it takes the money counters each week to count the offering and assist in accurate record keeping. It helps mem- bers manage their offering and helps the church have a more balanced cash flow especially during the summer months. Thank you for your consideration this very convenient way to give to Gods work.

    PRAYER PARTNER SUPPER

"Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and re-quests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep praying for all the

    Lord's people." Eph. 6:18

February 11, 2018, 5:00p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

All ladies in our congregation that participate in, or would like to join, the prayer part-

ner ministry at Victory are invited to attend.

Our guest speakers for the evening will be Marilyn Haag and Brenda Knodel from the

Nurture Pregnancy Support Centre. They will be sharing information on the centre

whose mission is to demonstrate Christ's love by providing practical and spiritual aid to

those facing challenges during and after pregnancy. They will also present infor-

mation on the Kristy Care Fund which financially supports children facing medical

challenges by aiding in purchasing necessary items such as specialized wheel chairs.

Offering collected at the supper will go to support these two important pro-

grams. Any baby care items will also be gratefully accepted by the centre: diapers,

Q-tips, baby wipes, formula, baby food, toiletries, receiving blankets, bibs, clothing

and small baby toys. Those wishing to donate, but unable to attend, can make a do-

nation using the church offering envelopes clearly marked NURTURE CENTRE and

placed in mailbox #95 to be given to the speakers at the supper. To request a tax re-

ceipt from the centre for a donation please include your full name and mailing ad-

dress on the envelope. If you want your donation to go specifically to the Kristy Care

Fund please indicate so on the memo line of your cheque made out to the Nurture

Pregnancy Centre or on the offering envelope.

Also that evening Prayer Partners for 2017 will be revealed and new Prayer Partners to

pray for during 2018 will be chosen by those wishing to participate. If wishing to par-

ticipate as a prayer partner, but unable to attend, please fill in a prayer partner infor-

mation sheet, available at the office, and place it into mailbox #153. A partner will

be chosen for you at the supper and their name and information sheet will be placed

into your mailbox for the following Sunday.

A sign up sheet will be available for bringing salads and desserts. Fried chicken will be

provided by the VLW. Plan to attend to enjoy fellowship, learn, and offer prayer sup-

port to others. Please sign up soon to allow for good planning. Thank you.

"I urge, then,...that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people."

    1 Timothy 2:1

Why Your Unique Personality Matters in Grief

Do you ever wonder why people grieve differently from you? Are you ever confused by yours or other people’s response to grief?

Would you like a few tools that would help you understand why your family members, friends or co-workers grieve differently?

Would you like to be able to communicate more effectively with those who are grieving in the professional context?
