Table of ContentsSummary of the artist
It feels as though my life’s experience has culminated into this moment— wherein
I get to present my work to you, and to the world. What began as an early childhood
affinity for constructing mud pies in the backyard evolved into hours spent beading
accessories for prom and embossing hand-made greeting cards. My craftsmanship took
many forms, allowing me to hone my skills in a variety of media and learn to express my
vision in unique ways. Design became my primary focus at the University of Oregon, and I
am excited to make it my career.
I strongly believe that artists in the field of digital arts must be dynamic, capable
of pushing the boundaries of design, and technically skilled to help clients see their
ideas realized. My diverse experiences and genuine desire to help allow me to devise
novel solutions to complex design challenges. I am generous with my time, energy, and
creative input.
This portfolio contains a (by no means complete) collection of my personal and
professional projects. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me through my work.
I hope you enjoy.

I created his fanciful image of a capybara layer-by-layer
in Adobe Illustrator. Each of the four layers was then desaturated, inverted, and
made into photopolymer plates to be used on the
bed of the letterpress.

Non-Profit WorkI have spent countless hours working with Worth A Dam— an organization dedicated to maintaining the Martinez Beavers in Alhambra Creek through responsible stewardship, creative problem solving, community involvement, and education. I work alongside the organization’s founder, Heidi Perryman, to re-invent existing protional materials and create new awareness of the cause.

I made the silhouettes below using adobe Illustrator. A
metal sculptor in Martinez, CA then used my drawings to create a sculpture located in
“Beaver Park” to memorialize this mother beaver and her
three young kits

During my marketing internship with
Skanska, I learned how to craft
technically detailed and eye-catching
proposals. I completed this proposal
independently on a tight deadline. The
entire document totaled 37 pages.

A Company Newsletter
both pages:
Skanska distributed this newsletter to every branch in the United States. I was responsible for interviewing employees, writing several stories, creating images, designing the layout, and overseeing production.

An economics project required the presentation of multiple
types of data in a visually stimulating manner.

addition to all creative aspects of the project, we

“Crossed Lines” & “Spun”Letterpress
These two projects were created in one ten-week
advanced letterpress course. The text was hand-set and
printed on a vandercook press, while images were
created digitally and transferred to photopolymer
plates. Each examines issues of communication in a
different way.

These prints were made using the lithographic process based on the mutual repulsion of oil and water. The images were drawn by hand on either limestone or aluminum plates. Each color represents a separate press run. In total, I made about 20 copies of each print.

Wedding Invitations
both pages:
For this project, the bride gave me three colors and an image of a bird to incorporate
into the invitation. From there, I designed and assembled over 100 custom pocket
envelopes and inserts. The final product was completed and mailed for under $300.00
