    1.0 Introduction.

The president of Atlas & Company, James Atlas said, A good speech is like a pencil; it

has to have a point like a breathless messengers report. The quote tells us that preparing and

delivering a speech requires a good preparation in order to attract the attention of the listeners

subsequently received a good response. Although a speech is viewed as enlarged conversation

those we used in everyday conversation, but there are some differences. The content must be

    clear and easy to understand.

In making a speech we need more preparation based on the topic, the period of time, and

to whom the speech will be delivered. In preparing a speech, we have to do some research,

insert words of wisdom or quotes as well as charts or diagrams as evidence supporting the

    content of speech.

In making a farewell speech for a person who has served with distinction, we have

expressed gratitude for their invaluable contributions that have brought many benefits and

success to place he worked. We should also praise and appreciate him, and make good wishes for

    his future.

In the Parents and Teachers Association meeting, the president should deliver the

opening speech. He should state the activities and improvement that have been brought for theschools and societys benefit. In addition, the president should also thank to the committee for

the good cooperation during the period he leads the association. He should also make good

wishes for the next committee members that to be selected for the session.

We need to attract as many people as we can in preparing and delivering a speech to call

for peoples donation and commitment. Evidence, pictures and statistic should be displayed to

the audience. The speech content should be able to touch the audiences feel, and build the

awareness to react and so as give cooperation in the charity job to be carried.

As a conclusion in producing a speech, we have to do research, give the evidence, charts

or diagram, quotes that relate to the content of the speech and also a good language in order to

    attract good attention and feedback.

Good afternoon to The Chair Person, the warmest welcome to our special guest Tuan Haji

    Zolkifli Abdullah, ladies and gentlemen.

First of all, I would like to thank all staff and family for gathering here this afternoon for this

special occasion warmly dedicated to our formal head who is moving to a multinational

company. As we know, today is the last day for him to be here with us because he will step

down from this school and move to a multinational company from next week onwards.

    Dear ladies and gentlemen,

We have been working together with our boss since 10 years ago. As we understand, he is a very

hardworking person and is committed to the staff. The excellent cooperation among the leader

and the staff under the administration, have led us to be one of the top ten school in this district

and top ranking in the state in the UPSR exam since 2006.

His firmness and concern in leading this school has increased the quality of teachers to be more

enthusiastic, dedicated and well self motivated. We have managed to handle any problems that

have arisen and satisfied the students and parents needs. The good work attitude of the staff

managed to maintain our school performance to the public. In addition, a good achievement in

academic and co-curricular performance has been maintained. We are very proud to say that, his

leadership has succeeded in guiding and educating the staff to work with full motivation,

dedication and sincerity. His leadership and hardworking refers as George S.Clason said in his

famous book entitled The Richest Man in Babylon which was published in 1926. Clason said,

Man of action are favored by the Goddess of Good Luck.

    Ladies and gentlemen,

Let us recount some of our sweet memories over the years we spent with our boss. After two

years he led us, this school was chosen as the one of the best administration among the school in

Johor. We won the Sekolah Harapan in 2007. As we know, with his effort and initiative the

school building was rehabilitated and we now have a new additional constructed building.

Besides, the old wooden building had been renovated and upgrade. The school environment also

has been beautified in accordance with the government slogan to create A School in the Park.

We are very proud to say that so many changes have been made which brought a new

appearance and better service. Besides that, various programs have been undertaken to develop

the staff careers for all levels, in order to ensure that the staff is competent and followed with

    current global standards.

Our leader was also aware and very particular about the good relationship among staff.

Family gatherings activities were also carried out to create a relaxed atmosphere between staff.

    Ladies and gentlemen,

We believe his ability and talent, high motivation and good attitude will elevate him as a

respected and honored person. We hope that, his moving to the multinational company will bring

him more success for him and his family.

    With this, I thank you.
