Fabric A (4270P-11 Butterfly Panel – Teal):• Fussy cut (1) 22 ½” x 40 ½” panel.
Fabric B (4275-77 River Rocks – Cobalt Blue), cut:• (2) 2” x 40 ½” WOF strips.• (2) 2” x 25 ½” WOF strips.• (15) 2” x WOF strips, sub-cut (312) 2” squares.• (8) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.
Fabric C (4274-22 Leaves – Lilac), cut:• (12) 3 ½” x WOF strips, sub-cut (144) 3 ½” squares.
Fabric D (4271-77 Succulent – Cobalt Blue), cut:• (2) 6 ½” x WOF strips, sub-cut (10) 6 ½” squares.

Block Assembly1. Sew (1) 2” x 40 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 22 ½” x 40 ½” Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2” x 25 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and bottom of the Fabric A panel to make the Center Block (Fig. 1). Trim the center block to measure 24 ½” x 42 ½”.
2. Place (1) 2” Fabric B square on the top left corner of (1) 3 ½” Fabric C square, right sides together (Fig. 2). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 2). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 3). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam.
3. Follow Figure 4 for the seam direction to add (1) 2” Fabric B square to the upper right corner of the Fabric C corner, (2) 2” Fabric F squares to the bottom two corners of the 3 ½” Fabric C square to make one Unit 1 square (Fig. 5).
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to make (80) Unit 1 squares total.
5. Repeat Steps 2 and 3, following Figure 6 and using (40) 3 ½” Fabric C squares and (80) 2” Fabric B squares to make (40) Unit 2 squares.
6. Repeat Steps 2 and 3, following Figure 7 and using (24) 3 ½” Fabric C squares and (72) 2” Fabric B squares to make (24) Unit 2 squares.
7. Follow Figure 8 sew together (1) 6 ½” Fabric D square, (8) Unit 1 squares and (4) Unit 2 squares to make (1) Block One square. Repeat to make (10) Block One squares total.

Quilt Top Assembly(Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)10. Sew together (3) 6 ½” x 12 ½” Fabric E strips and (2) Block One squares, alternating them to make (1) side pieced border. Repeat to make a second side pieced border. Sew the borders to each side of the center block.
11. Sew together (3) Block One squares and (2) 6 ½” x 12 ½ “ Fabric E strips to make the top pieced border. Repeat to make the bottom pieced border. Sew the borders to the top and bottom of the center block to make the quilt top.
12. Sew (1) Side Sashing Border to each side of the quilt top.
13. Sew (1) Top Sashing Row to the top of the quilt top.
14. Sew (1) Bottom Sashing Row to the bottom of the quilt top.
15. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 72 ½” Fabric F strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 56 ½” Fabric F strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
16. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 74 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 64 ½” Fabric G strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
Layering, Quilting and Finishing17. Press the quilt top and 72” x 90” backing well. Layer backing (wrong side up), batting, pressed quilt top (right side up) and baste. Quilt as desired and trim excess batting and backing when quilting is complete.
Binding18. Cut the ends of the (8) Fabric B binding strips at a 45-degree angle and sew end to end to make (1) continuous piece of binding. Fold in half lengthwise and press wrong sides together.
19. Sew the binding to the front of the quilt, raw edges together. Turn the folded edge to the back, and hand stitch in place.

8. Sew together (6) Unit 3 squares and (3) 3 ½” x 12 ½” Fabric E strips as shown in Figure 9 to make the Top Sashing Row. Repeat to make the Bottom Sashing Row.
9. Sew together (6) Unit 3 squares and (4) 3 ½” x 12 ½” Fabric E strips as shown in Figure 10 to make the Side Sashing Row. Repeat to make a second Side Sashing Row.
