Single-use plastics Top 10 Tips

Please help us reduce the harmful impacts of single-useplastics on the environment by:

• Avoiding single-use plastic packaging where possible

• Recycling plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays in yourclear recycling sack or bank

• Recycling plastic films bearing the “Recycle with carrier bags at larger stores”logo at supermarkets

• Using cloth shopping bags or “bags for life”

• Using a refillable water bottle, cup or mug

• Refusing plastic straws and cutlery

• Packing your lunch in re-usable containers not clingfilm

• Buying loose vegetables instead of pre-packaged ones

How do I recycle?It couldn’t be easier. Instead of throwing the itemslisted below in the bin, just put them in your clear recycling sack or orange-lidded bank.

The items just need to be clean and dry, and ifyou’re recycling containers remove any lids/capsfirst and put in the bin.
