Overview•The M&M company has asked students to find out the most common color of M&M’s. Students will create a graph and compare results with the class to determine the most common color. Students will then create a new M&M that is the color found to be most common.

Introduction• The M&M company has asked me to help them in

developing a new M&M. They need this new M&M to be the color most commonly found in a bag of M&Ms. You will need to work independently to graph a bag of M&M to find out the most common color. You will then develop a new flavor of M&M that is the color you found to be most common. I will be sending the new flavors to the president of the M&M company, Paul Michaels. He will decide on the newest flavor!

TaskIn order to help develop the newest flavor of M&Ms you will need to find the most common color of M&M’s by creating a graph with a partner. You will then work with your partner to develop a new flavor of M&M. I will be sending your new creations to the president of M&M/Mars.
