February 12, 2017 ~ Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Thank you for the outpouring of support during Catholic Schools Week! Students

celebrated their gift of a Catholic education all week long. Charity Bingo raised $258 for

the Regional Food Bank of NENY, 119 cans of soup were collected for St. Vincent's Food

Pantry on Souper Bowl Friday, Bouncy Bounces filled the gym for a Student

Appreciation Day, Stewart's Ice Cream Shop donated for make your own Sundae and

our talented artists had their art work on display on the NYS Concourse.

Save the Date: Krause's Easter Candy orders will be in the bulletin next weekend.

Orders will be due by 3/1/2017.

Congratulations to Miss Mary Schwartz, 4th grade teacher, for her 45 years of service

to the Diocese of Albany.

February 12, 2017 ~ Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Once again the response to the

SOUPER BOWL OF CARING

Collection was overwhelming. In

addition to the 126 cans of soup

collected at church, All Saints

Academy collected 119 cans of

soup for their Spirit

Day. Because of your generous

donations, we collected a total of

$526.00. A portion of these

funds will be donated to Deacon

Gary’s Midnight Run. Did you

know he prepares bagged

lunches for these runs. It is

because of our caring

parishioners that we are able to

feed those less fortunate than

us. Thank you from the bottom

of our hearts.

2nd grade Sacramental Parent

Meeting. An information

meeting for parents of 2nd

graders who are preparing for the

sacrament of Reconciliation and

First Eucharist is scheduled for

Tuesday, Feb. 28 at

6:30p.m.. This meeting is for

parents of students who attend

All Saints Academy or who

attend our faith formation

program. The meeting will be

held in the Parish Center

Conference Room. If your child

was not baptized at All Saints

Church, a copy of their baptism

certificate is needed.

There are no Faith Formation

session on Feb 19 and Feb 26

due to winter break. Classes for

grades K-10 will resume on

March 5. Sessions for March- 5,

12, 19, 26.

Volunteers Needed

The Community Hospice is

looking for compassionate and

friendly people who have

positive attitudes and are good

listeners to be Community

Hospice Volunteers. Volunteers

may visit with patients and

families in private homes,

hospitals and nursing homes.

Multi-day training begins in

March with evening and day

sessions. Pre-registration is
