Lesson 1 Lesson Overview

The purpose of this lesson is to understand the 4 processes available in EM to manage the production process.

Event Management Collaboration

This lesson includes processes available to manage real time production milestone data. This functionality replaces the current OSR/PSR excel sheets. The following processes are defined in the system.

• Purchase Order Acknowledgement – Vendor advises that PO was received • Purchase Order Confirmation – Vendor confirms delivery dates, Mast agrees • Manage Production Order Milestones – Track dates such as Fabric Planned Date, Fabric Received Date • Upload/Download Comments – Download data and update it via Excel for multiple records

System updates are regulated by security. A vendor can only see orders placed under their SAP Vendor ID. There are restrictions against who can upload changes and to which fields. There are two ways to view/edit data:

• By colorway – all sizes are rolled up by Color ID • By line item – All color/size lines are viewable

All data flows down, meaning if a comment is uploaded by a Colorway, all lines will also inherit the information. Updates at the line level, stay at the line level as that is the lowest level.

Tracking Scenario’s available in your profile include logically grouped fields related to relevant milestones. See the Field Matrix document for field definitions, formatting requirements and availability by scenario.
