Join the toddlers this week as they go on a wild animal adventure. They will be exploring all di� erent types of animals, through music and movement and of course creating some amazing animal crafts. Be on the lookout this

week.... we’ll have some of the cutest monkeys, tigers and bears, OH My!

Primary students will learn to be zookeepers this week and enjoy lots of furry visitors. They will learn about di� erent animal habitats and lifecycles while experiencing the importance of being respectful pet handlers.

May 26th-May 30th: Animal Planet

ummer is just around the corner and The Hills Montessori has another awesome summer camp experience planned! We have over 20 special in-school � eld trips scheduled , working with some of the best early childhood organizations available in the Omaha area. Programming will be made possible through the Omaha Children’s Museum, Strategic Air & Space Museum, Arts 4 All, Fontenelle Forest, NRD, Wenningho� Farms, Soby Farms, Barnes & Noble, other community partners and of course The Hills Montessori’s talented teaching sta� ! Each week promises to o� er one-of-a-kind experiences for all of our students! Look out! The toddlers are going green! This week we are focusing on our environment. We will be collecting and recycling for craft projects and more. We love our environment and all the great things it brings. Watch out! We will be

getting our hands dirty planting and nurturing our environment

Composting, gardens, worms, OH MY! Primary students learn about the environment and how important it is to keep clean while we tend to our garden and explore nature!.

June 9th-June 13th: Going Green

My how our toddlers love to boogie! Music is a very important part of our lives. This week will be full of fun and great energy! We will be letting loose with some of the most upbeat music. Let’s get the movement in our hands and feet

and rock to the beat as we make music leap!

The music making primary students will discover the joy of music through their natural curiosity. Using instruments, creative play, movement, dance, songs, group performance and more, students will gain experience with all of the

fundamentals of music and have fun doing it!

June 16th-June 20th: Music Makers

Yum! Yum! Yum! Here come the toddler chefs! This week toddlers will be making all kinds of yummy snacks. They will be jumping in with all � ve senses exploring the world of healthy recipes, Kool-Aid, playdough, wiggly jello and more! We will introduce the basics of cutting, spreading and stirring.

Primary students will become a chef for the week! Our culinary students will learn about ingredients while baking cookies, making ice cream, and other culinary masterpieces. Our child chefs will learn that cooking can be quite creative, full of discovery, and tons of fun!

June 2nd-June 6th: Cooking Camp

Toddlers will be blasting o� into space with rockets a-blazing. The campers will enjoy a week full of space exploration as they learn about the planets, moon, sun and stars. Our little astronauts will be exploring space with all sorts of fun

crafts and projects. They will be painting our world using their hands to make impressions on our world.

Set your eyes to the skies, as primary campers explore our solar system. Be prepared to blast o� for a fun week of space exploration in an out of this world camp! Campers will learn about the planets, our sun and moon as well as

all the stars that make up the nighttime sky.

July 7th-July 11th: Space is the Place

Happy 4th of July! Let’s celebrate our Independence by showing our patriotic pride. This week toddlers will be shining their stars bright as they use their hands and feet to make a cool � ag of the USA. They will use some really unique items to make big bright and beautiful pieces of art.

Primary students will celebrate Independence Day with banners, � ags, patriotic games, a parade, and red, white and blue art projects! Special visitors will share their stories of heroism and safety!

June 30th-July 4th: Stars and Stripes!

This week we would like to showcase our class’ ethnic diversity. We will be learning and enjoying di� erent music and dances from around the world. We will also be making di� erent instruments from around the world. At the end of the week we will display our diversity with a parade of instruments of each toddler’s choosing, while wearing our

cultural attire.

Primary campers will become world travelers and have a blast learning about di� erent cultures through fun, hands-on activities in storytelling, dance, music, art and food. Get your passport stamped and collect memories and

mementos from each destination!

June 23rd-June 27th: Around the World

Come join us for our toddler relay obstacle course. We will be setting up di� erent activities for our toddlers to use both their large and small motor skills. This week our focus is all about getting up and moving in a fun and safe way to keep our bodies happy and healthy. This � tness camp is a high energy fun-� lled exercise experience for kids.

This week strives to increase awareness of health and � tness in a fun, safe, positive and motivating way! Primary campers will run obstacle courses, play � tness games, learn partner activities, participate in yoga and loads of other fun exercise!

July 14th –July 18th: Fun and Fitness

Toddlers are natural explorers. This week they will put on their lab coats and explore some ooey gooey science. We will be making bubbles, large and small, and explore ants and butter� ies! We will also experiment with di� erent types of liquids and solids. Watch as we learn through our experiences with physical, life and earth science.

Primary campers -- Get ready for a week full of scienti� c exploration. During Mad Science week, primary campers will explore various aspects of the science world, some of which include but are not limited to aerodynamics, buoyancy, magnetism, chemistry and physics. We will learn about these interesting topics by doing several experiments that are fun for all ages and easy replicated at home. So grab your Mad Science gear and join us at The Hills Montessori this summer.

Toddler campers will enjoy a week of creativity. Pick up your paint brushes, pull out that easel and go for it! This week we are about letting our kiddos’ creativity show! We will be tapping into our artistic abilities creating unlimited

beautiful canvases for all to see.

It’s time to get creatively crafty this week with Artful Antics! Primary campers will explore di� erent methods and mediums used in an array of amazing projects. We can’t wait to make colossal collages, spectacular sculptures,

majestic paintings, and Chihuly inspired cup art. The emphasis is on individualism, creativity, and of course tons of fun!

July 28th-August 1: Artful Antics

Toddlers will be getting to know all about those creepy crawly things in our world. We will be bringing in a butter� y habitat and watch as they transform from caterpillars to beautiful butter� ies, just like our toddlers.

This week primary and toddler campers will have some � rst-hand encounters with some of the creepiest of crawlers. Students will learn all about di� erent types of insects, their habitat, anatomy, diet and even get to see them live in action!
