Please bring firewood and gallons of water if you can. Fellowship each morning at the fire or ramada. Please bring your beverage of choice. Campfires nightly. Charcoal fire will usually be the 3rd night for grilling. Potluck held 2nd day of campout at 1pm. Tonto National Forest passes to visit campgrounds along the Salt and Verde Rivers and Lakes in the Tonto National Forest can be purchased online at www.fs.usda.gov/tonto . For those over 62 who wish to purchase a Golden Age card you still need to go to a Forest Service office or national park

SLAB LOWS INFORMATION (October-March) Bring your interest and enthusiasm and anything can happen!
LOWS – Coffee at Campfire every morning and Happy Hour at 3 pm every afternoon. Card game “31” in Post Office at 6:30 pm nightly. Shuffle board and lots of other
games are in the Post Office trailer, available anytime. Solar Mike at The SunWorks, 760-791-5011 Tuesday through Saturday, 8 am East Jesus – Beale St. to T intersection, turn left. Large outdoor display of art made from junk. Salvation Mountain – Main road into the Slabs. Artwork mountain of straw, adobe and murals. Library – The Lows have a lending library and there is also one on Beale St. in Slab City, Hot Springs (Turn in on road at Jimi Austin James). Clothing optional. Dump station for small rigs at MoJos, Canal Road. $10 Mornings: Oasis 7-10 am, coffee/tea and conversation. (First day is free, then donation Or $30 for the season. Sunday – breakfast is served at 9 am, $5 Bubba’s Breakfast on Canal St, M-W-F, 8-11 am. (Head cook is on dude ranch Four months of the year). Good Food, clean. Best bathroom at Slab City. General information: Sun. evenings some hosts serve dinner, and it is the
host’s choice. If host has dinner, please contact them and let them know

Mon.-Thurs. at 9 a.m. coffee and rolls will be served at host’s site and
happy hour at 4p.m. Please bring your own drink and shared goodies.
Evening, if permitted a campfire if wood is brought. One day for lunch we
go to town if there are enough vehicles to drive. Sometimes board
games. Take your pick of what you want to do there are no set rules.
Potluck at noon on Wed. Left-over potluck Thurs. night. Fri. morning, we
get together to say our goodbyes till the next campout-bring your own

NOTE: We have seen and done some exciting and interesting things with Lows. Each of you can participate in finding different places to visit in the area we are camping. How about looking up and report interesting & fun things to do when you get to the campout. This will help make a fun time for everyone.
Be sure to check the dates of future campouts. In April we moved to the 3rd
weekend, to avoid Easter. December is Dec. 1, since folks get too busy as the
month goes on, some Campouts we will join Gulf Lows and that will be a
different weekend.
April 14 -19, 2020 Tues – Sun CANCELLED. Homosassa River RV Resort,

is a lot to do in this area and a great rec. hall. Note: The 2nd weekend is
Easter, so we are moving it ahead 1 week, so more folks can come and also

May 5 – 10, 2020. JOY RV Park,

Directions: Follow these directions as your GPS may lead you in the wrong
way. From I-95, exit 201, west on 528. Left next to McDonalds on Tucker
Road. Watch for Central Life Church, you needs to turn right at the next
driveway into PEACEWIND development. Flamingo Drive is the first road
to get to JOY Park, and you must drive thrugh the PeaceWind property to
get back to JOY RV. Ignore the private road signs, they do not apply to JOY
guests. Note: if you are coming South on 528 you will need to turn right at
McDonalds.
No Campouts for June, July, and August. Too Hot
Sept. 8 – 13, 2020 Tues – Sun. Southern Oaks RV Resort,

we will all be near each other.
October 6 -11, 2020, Tues – Sun. Gulf Lows will join us. Happy Traveler

exit 265, East on Fowler ½ mile. $30 full hookup with Passport America.
Without it will be $45. If you don't have Passport America you would pay

Nov. 17 – 22, 2020. Midlows will join Gulf Lows. Lettuce Lake RV Resort,

January is one of the difficult months to find a CG that will take our group,
but this year you have 2 choices. You can do either or both.
January 5, - 10, 2021 Tues. - Sun. Lynda Blackford's home & yard. 16333

Watch for a 7 story condo across the street and our Orange direction signs.
This is near Clermont. (Your GPS may list it as 7th street) Lynda has invited
us again to come to her home with your RV. Electricity is limited, but she
can give up to 8 RV's, 20 amps of electricity. You will not be able to use your
elec. heat, (you can use propane) or AC, but you can use your generator.
Plenty of water and 2 places to dump. She is asking that you reimburse her
for the elec. for $10. for the entire campout. Also we can use her home as our
rec. hall.
Also January 19-24, 2021, the Gulf Lows have invited us to join them at
their campout. Sunshine Holiday Resort, 1701 US 1, Ormond Beach, Fl

and be sure and tell them you are with Gulf Lows. They can only give Gulf
Lows 12 sites, so if you want to go, you should call ASAP. Several Gulf Lows

March 9 – 14, 2021, Red Oaks RV Resort,

75. It is a very large park behind the Ice Cream Store. Watch for a big Flag
with Red Oaks on it. We will all be in same area and have a rec. area to use.
Call for your own reservation at least 2 weeks before the campout. After 2
weeks they will start letter the sites out for the public. We must have 10 to
