Molly wanted to know who the cub was.

‘I wonder if she will be my friend?” she thought, “I guess I will find out tomorrow.”

Night fell upon the zoo, and the animals went to sleep.

Molly hopped over the fence onto Faith’s side.

“Will you be my friend?” Molly asked Faith.

“I never had a friend before, you will be my first,” Faith said.

Faith put her head down. “I am shy around other people.” Faith said quietly.

Molly put her paw on Faith’s back. “I will be your friend no matter what.”
