Diseased grapevines show stunted growth, less Vigour, millerandage and low quality of berries

What causes???

Only a few induce pathological conditions relevant from an economic point in all wine-growing areas of the world

Outcome…

A metagenomic approach discovered a new grapevine trichovirus

which is named Grapevine Pinot Gris virus (GPGV) (Gianpietruzzi et al., 2012)

To define etiology and the biological feature of this disease we have started a project about:
