LOS ANGELES, CA --Just in time for Halloween, the most famous horror franchise started by Wes Craven (Scream, Scream 2) is back with a vengeance with New Line Home Video's A Nightmare On Elm Street series, including A Nightmare On Elm Street box set, arriving on September 7. Available for $89.98, A Nightmare On Elm Street box set contains all of the classic remastered and repackaged Nightmare films in a keepsake box Additionally, all seven Nightmare titles will be sold separately for just $14.98 each. Featuring interviews with all of the films ' directors and original theatrical trailers, the series includes early performances from Johnny Depp, Patricia Arquette and Laurence Fishburne. A Nightmare On Elm Street is also available in widescreen when sold separately and as a Platinum Series DVD box set.
Other videos available in time for Halloween include Campfire Tales and the unrated Leatherface for $19.98. Additionally, Embrace Of The Vampire , jason Goes To Hell, Leatherface and The Mangler are priced at $14.98 each .

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET BOX SET A Nightmare On Elm Street Box Set contains all seven Nightmare titles for the first time ever. Each film is remastered and repackaged and features the original theatrical trailer. In addition, interviews with filmmakers such as horror master Wes Craven (A Nightmare On Elm Street); Jack Sholder (A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 Freddy's Revenge); Chuck Russell (A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors); Renny Harlin (A Nightmare On Elm Street 4 The Dream Master); Stephen Hopkins (A Nightmare On Elm Street 5 The Dream Child) and Rachel Talalay (Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare) are included in the collection.
FILM SYNOPSES Following is a brief synopsis of the titles featured in this promotion.
A Nightmare On Elm Street Nancy (Heather Langenkamp) is having grisly nightmares. Something monstrous wants to kill her. Meanwhile, her high-school friends, who are having the very same dream, are being slaughtered in their sleep by the hideous fiend of their shared nightmare. When the police ignore her explanation, she herself must confront the killer in his shadowy realm.
A Nightmare On Elm Street 2 Freddy's Revenge Jason hasn't been himself lately. Every night, he's been haunted by dark, overpowering visions of an evil presence trying to possess his body. And it isn't just a case of bad dreams. It's a nightmare come true. For Jesse has just moved to Elm Street- into the house where Freddy Krueger "lives." A monstrous, local child-murderer. But his evil is still very much alive in Jesse's house. And Freddy is very much alive in Jesse. And once Freddy's hell-spawned soul takes complete possession of.Jesse's body, he can return from the dead to do what he so desperately longs to do. He can kill again. And again. And again.
A Nightmare On Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors The last of the Elm Street kids are now at a psychiatric ward where Freddy haunts their dreams with unspeakable horrors. Their only hope is dream researcher and fellow survivor Nancy Thompson (Heather Langenkamp of the original Nightmare), who helps them battle the supernatural psycho on his own hellish turf. Yet for these unlucky teens in the woods, the biggest shock is still to come.
Embrace Of The Vampire In the tradition of Poison Ivy, Alyssa Milano plays Charlotte, a sensuous but innocent college freshman who is being seduced by the most obsessive lovers. A lover (Martin Kemp) who comes to her only in her dreams -a dark, handsome vampire who touches her in forbidden places and will stop at nothing to arouse her passion.
