Program Mark Equalled: After scoring a league-high tying 43 goals in 2013, the CSUN offense trailed off this season. The Matadors tied a program record low for fewest goals scored in a season (19), initially set by the 2000 team.

Give And Take: The Mustangs scored the third-most goals (13) in conference games, but they have also allowed 15 goals, the second-highest total next to Sacramento State’s 18.

+DPLOWRQ�5LVHV�8S�&KDUWV� Junior goalkeeper Wade Hamilton made seven saves against UC Davis to improve his season total to a Big West leading 96. That total ranks him No. 3 all-time on the Cal Poly single-season list. With one more season to go in the green and gold, Hamilton also is tied with Eric Branagan-Franco (2006-08) for No. 2 in school history with 224 career saves.

NCAA Record Part I: The Ag-JLHV�¿QLVKHG�WKH������VHDVRQ�playing in an NCAA record 14 overtime games, breaking the old mark of 11 that had been shared by Saint Louis (2003), San Diego State (2009) and the 2011 Aggies.

1&$$�5HFRUG�3DUW�'HX[� UC Davis set a Big West single-season record with nine ties, marching past the previous record set by UC Riverside in 2007. In addition, the nine ties equal the NCAA record accomplished three previous times by Providence (2005), St. John’s (2009) and South Florida (2013).

Sheldon Finishes Solid Career: Senior Matt Sheldon concluded his time in the Aggie blue and gold with 15 career goals, with seven of those accounting for game-winners.

Stout Defense: UC Davis allowed the fewest number of JRDOV� ����� WR� RSSRQHQWV� DQG� ¿QLVKHG�ZLWK� D� OHDJXH�ORZ�0.70 goals against average. The Aggies did not allow an RSSRQHQW� WR�VFRUH�PRUH� WKDQ�RQH�JRDO� WKURXJK� WKHLU�¿UVW�17 contests. Only in their last two losses to Sacramento State and Cal State Fullerton did they allow multiple goals.

Got Their Number: UC Ir-vine improved to 4-0 all-time against UC Santa Barbara in Big West Tournament head-to-head meetings after knock-ing off the Gauchos, 3-2, in :HGQHVGD\¶V�VHPL¿QDOV���7KH�Anteaters have outscored

UCSB 14-7 in the four tournament victories.

Sustainability: The Anteaters have notched a minimum of 14 wins in six of the last seven years. Over that seven-year period, UCI has won 95 games, more than any other Big West program.

Almost Untouchable: UCI has utilized the Big West Tour-nament as sort of its own personal playground, posting a 10-1 all-time record with four tournament titles – 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012.

Breslin’s Brigade: Junior keeper Michael Breslin continues to dent the Big West record book. With two wins in the Big West Tournament, Breslin is now all alone for fourth with 34 career victories. In addition, he is 10th in conference history with 20 shutouts and No. 9 in both minutes played (5,768) and matches in goal (62).

Mez Sez:�6HQLRU�&KLPGXP�0H]�¿QLVKHG�KLV�+RUQHW�FDUHHU�on a high note, scoring a career-best seven goals – tied for No. 3 in the Big West – with four of those strikes accounting for game-winners. Six of Mez’s 10 career goals were of the game-winning variety.

2IIHQVLYH� ,PSURYHPHQW� Mez’s presence helped the Hornets score 18 goals this season, a seven goal improve-ment over last year.

Telling Stats: The Hornets allowed a conference-high 38 goals in 2014 – currently 13 more than the next highest Big West club. The team was 5-2-2 when it allowed one goal or less and 1-9-1 when opponents scored two or more goals. The team also was 4-0-1 when scoring two or more goals.

Lev-Ari’s goals and points totals ranked him second nationally.
