A packaging solution for distributing glass dropper bottles

Sending parcels is not cheap and can be a hassle. This is why Origin Pharmaceutical Ltd has developed a new packaging solution for glass dropper bottles which will be the answer to distributor’s dreams. This clever little package will be called the 'EnvoBox'.

It has been vigorously tested and found to be a highly secure and presentable method of packaging glass dropper bottles.

The cost of posting one bottle using an EnvoBox is typically 71 pence for first class and 58 pence for second. This means that it is a significantly cheap way of sending glass dropper bottles through the Royal Mail postage service.

The environmental impact of the package has been heavily thought about. Not only does the reduction in size help this, but also the way in which it has been made. The EnvoBox has been manufactured from White FBB (Folding Box Board), and it is FSC/ PEFC certified (for the reason that it has been made from sustainable sources).

There are several benefits of posting with an EnvoBox, which includes:

• When sending a one 10ml Bottle, using an EnvoBox you will save up to 55% on packaging and postage

• The Envobox is a presentable package which holds its shape, therefore it doesn’t get bent and broken. This also offers more protection to the contents as it is rigid and impact resistant

• The product will also facilitate a uniform presentation of one, two, three, four or five bottles – always consistently symmetrical and representative of your company's customer service

• Due to the dimensions of the folded and closed box being 193x x 98 x 24 mm, the EnvoBox will always fit through standard letter boxes. This removes the 'hassle factor' for the consumer so that they do not receive a 'Too large for Letter Box' card from Royal Mail. This would result in them having to collect the parcel from a local sorting office which is a nuisance for them

The EnvoBox has been designed in conjunction with Origin’s own custom-made 10ml dropper bottle which can be used with all GL18 caps. This means that it is also compatible with all existing boreseal, hole and polycane closures in plain, non-TE, TE, CRC and combo finishes. There are also TE and non-TE dropper accessories in sizes between 0.6mm and 1.5mm. Examples of these are Child Resistant Closures – V Dropper and Pipette assembly.
