Fourth Grade A Peek at the Week in … April 16, 2018 Reading: This week we will practice a literary writing task and a research simulation task together, focusing on understanding the questions and writing prompts. Homework: Finish any incomplete class assignments daily. Assessment: Students will read a passage, answer multiple choice questions. Spelling: We will study words with VCV and vccv word patterns. Spelling words to be tested: final, finish, narrow, ahead, divide, famous, recent, minus, minute, value Homework: Mon. write words 5 times each Assessment: Friday, April 20th--Students will choose the correctly spelled words. Grammar: We will learn about contractions. Homework: Wed. wkbk page 20th. Assessment: Friday, April 20th--Quiz will reflect homework assignment Math: This week we will be reviewing the LEAP 2025 practice test questions to prepare for the real LEAP test in 2 weeks. Please use reflex math and zearn.org for additional support. Homework: Monday: reflex math for 20 mins Tuesday: Spiral Math review worksheet (if not completed in class) Wednesday: Reflex Math 20 mins Thursday: reflex math for 20 mins Friday: reflex math for 20 mins Social Studies: This week will finish UNIT 3 in our SS workbooks on Tyranny to Democracy and also reviewing the Practice LEAP 2025 test.
