A PRAYER FOR ENVIRONMENT

O God of Creation,From whom order

comes,Your power separates

the day from night,Your love holds

creation in beauty.

Let your love possess us as we continue to take care

of the earth.Let the power of the air we breathe

cleanse our thoughts.Let the power of the sun warm our hearts.

Let the power of water refresh our soul.Let the earth strengthen us.

Let the night rest our weary mind.

Continue to shower us with your love.Create in us a clean heart and mind.

Open our eyes to see the beauty of our land.

Make our hands powerful enough to protect life.

May the wisdom of the Holy Spirit

Direct our life towards creation and not destruction.

May you make me humble to bend down and pick up what is

thrown away.Direct my feet and lead me to

dispose my rubbish to its proper place.

Teach my heart the beauty of separating what is recyclable and what is not.

Make my eyes see how beautiful our land will be if we continue to love

What God has entrusted to us for free.

Loving God, we thank you for entrusting us the care for the mother earth.

We will continue to love her as you love us.Bless us as we bless our surroundings.Bless us as we take care of our school.

Bless our efforts in making our campus garbage free.

Bless us as we gather what has been scattered.

That as we work together as one family,

May we set examples to others that cleanliness is next to Godliness.

O God, we sincerely ask you in prayer to bless and intercede

for us.Help us to make our prayer be

our life.

May you make us true to what we ask of you.

May you grant the desires of our hearts and continue to remind us that

You created everything out of love.

All these we ask in

Jesus’ name.AMEN.
