Why do the KMIP Testing Program and at the Technology Center?
Colorado Springs is accessible via Denver and direct, features excellent hotels, dining and entertainmentFacilities include adjustable lab space and rooms, lockable areas, private conference rooms, private offices, training and meeting rooms, and engineer work benchesReplicable process and “Best Practices” in place for testing of conformance relative to standards
Code development, program launch and maintenance, results handling
The SNIA Tech Center already contains many of the “high cost” devices which might be required for proper testing
Disk and tape arrays from multiple vendors (leveraged and “borrowed” from SMI program - with endorsement of participants)Network storage switches from multiple vendors
